It really depends on the affiliate program, they're all different. Some have a 90 day hold while others only hold for 30 days. But the reason for the wait time is because a lot of places (like Amazon) have a 90 day return policy, so they wait to give the customer time to return the item before you get any commissions.

You could also be dealing with one of the programs who require a certain level of earnings before they mail a check. Frequently $50.

Are you referring to WA commission? If so, then just click on the WA Affiliate Program link on the left and all your commission details are there. Make sure you have filled in your Paypal info then you will automatically be paid on the 1st of the month.
If you are referring to any other affiliate program from the monetization of your site, then you will have to check with that specific program.

If it's another affiliate (eg. Amazon, Walmart, Argos etc) - you'd need to check their affiliate T&Cs; to find out.
