Do You Blame Someone Else for Not Getting Work Done?

It's All Your Fault!!!

I've taken the past few months to slow down my gaming "career" and take a look at where I want to be and how I'm going to get there. I know what I need to do, more or less, to get where I want to go, but....

I don't get any work done because I'm waiting for you to tell me where we are going today! And then when we get back I'm too tired to do any work! It's all your fault I'm not getting things done so I can do this fulltime!

Does that sound like you, even a little bit?

Well, that was me until today! I hate to admit it, but I've been redirecting my anger away from myself to the person who supports me the most, my wife.

After making my breakfast this morning I got on the computer, opened up one of my templates for product reviews and started typing. I know/knew I wouldn't finish today, but I am happy with the results. I'm currently at 1800+ words and haven't even started reviewing each of the 5 individual products.

Hell, I even finished a security module for my educational hours to keep up my Cisco certification today and have done one module for each of the last 3 days after coming home from work. And, I even did another survey for $10.00 during that time.

NO MORE EXCUSES!!!

We are in control of what we do and what we get done. Stop blaming someone else for something that you didn't get done. It is hard to come home from a 9-hour workday, eat dinner, and work on your own self-employment stuff. But, if you can just take a small bite out of the work each day you will get it done.

One step at a time and you will cross the finish line of your current project.

Then, start the next project and do the same thing and before you know it you will have done a mountain of work.

Thank you!!!

I'd like to thank each and every one of you for putting up a positive post and sharing your triumphs here at WA! Without them I may have given up long ago.

Now, I must follow my own advice and get some more work done, even if only a little bit it will be one less thing to do later. :-)

Cheers!

Les

Some do. You're either making money or making excuses.

Truth!!! I'm done making excuses!!!

It's nobody's fault just mine

And, now that I realize that, it is one less obstacle in my road.
Cheers!
