Off to a slow start .

Last Update: February 18, 2018

On the 4th March we got assigned our tasks for the 1st month of the Super Affiliate Challenge. It was exciting and I was eager to get going.

I already have an existing bootcamp site up and running so it was a matter of checking that everything was on track.

I ran into trouble with the logo design step and decided to skip it and get back to it. Instead I tried to work on finding some keywords and ideas for the 12 posts we have to write. I was really battling to come up with anything.

I am still working full-time in a regular job and doing the challenge after hours.

What I did not expect was for the 6th of Feb to come with some massive amounts of extra workload at the regular job. So much that I ended up taking work home and that whole week I did not get a chance to do any more work on my bootcamp site. When the weekend came along I was absolutely exhausted.

The following week I tried to catch up on some work, but my internet connection was playing up and I still got nowhere.

So this all makes the challenge just a little tougher, but I am not giving up. Lots of catching up to do if I am going to stay on track.

I have made some progress this weekend with ideas and keywords for posts and the first one is done. The others will follow close behind.

If you are part of the challenge I would like to hear how you are doing and if you are on track with the tasks for this month. Drop a note below and share how it is going.

It is very overwhelming, I am just one post behind but with my new job it has been a struggle and exhausting.
We can do it, do what you can when you can. Just keep moving forward.

Hi Lesley,
i know the feeling of being overwhelmed, I started taking one step at a time, conquering each hurdle.

The first month maybe challenging but as we complete each assignment it will get a little easier as we build up steam.

Remember failure is only obtained when you quit.

You will be ok. Just set some goals and try to keep up with them. I have a tendency to get up first thing in the morning and write because the house is quiet. Once the house wakes up, its up and down and all kind of crazies.
Find a time you can set aside when its quiet and you have it for yourself.

I have been seriously been considering the option of going to bed earlier and getting p earlier for that very reason.
It is just quite a challenge to get that new habit going.

Hi there: Sorry to hear that it has been so difficult for you. I too have had a rough start. My husband has been in hospital for ten days now and don't know when he can come home. I started with a bang and so excited. Built a new bootcamp site, wrote my WA review (although far from great) wrote three post of the twelve. all this by working day and night but in good spirits. Then nothing. With husband ill it is impossible to be creative.
Just try to stay strong and work on it when you can. I don't think we will be kicked out of the program and it will get better. We will catch up eventually!!

I agree. Life does get in the way, but we dare not give up - that is the only way that we will fail.
