My Opinion of Straight Talk and Mumbo Jumbo
I read a great post yesterday about straight talk and mumbo jumbo. I apologize for repeating part of my answer.
Straight up WA for me it has been a combination of mumbo jumbo and straight talk.
Kyle, Carson, Jay have not made any promises to me that if I stick with this program I will become rich. That is straight talk, and it is appreciated. If I put all the training that is offered to me, follow the outlines, my chances of making this program a means of a side income becomes very possible. It is all there and it is up to me to follow the training, and implement the steps to make this a lucrative stepping stone to have a profitable online business.
Now the mumbo jumbo, does exist but it is not from our mentors or the WA community. This is an expression of my opinion based on almost 2 years of experience here at WA.
I believe when it comes to so called, "Mumbo Jumbo" Google excels's in this area. When there is one person or company of persons who have a large controlling presence, in the situations I have to depend on, this power does get either neglected or abused.
The monopoly companies:
I use Rogers Cable systems for my TV and Internet, and my gosh as far as TV programs are concerned, everything seems to be a repeat. 160 channels, what is on channel 7 is also on 14, 22, 333 and so on. The same movies over and over. The other one is Bell Canada. The cost in no way can be justified, but I am spoiled and I do not want to switch. Been there done that.
Google, in my opinion has that same kind of monopoly. The monopoly companies is where a company or economic agent has the exclusive privilege on the production and commercialization of a certain type of product or service.
Microsoft:
It is one of the most controversial cases of monopoly and dominance on the planet. Its sector of production of goods and services is the market of hardware and software, where it generated a revolution since its appearance.
Cable TV:
It is a situation similar to that of fuels, telecommunications and public services. There are a few suppliers in this country, many of them operating worldwide with satellite systems. In this sector, the entire market is held by a few companies.
Google:
The company of the most important search engine of the Internet is investigated by monopoly in the United States and Europe. It is credited with establishing abusive market conditions for Android phone manufacturers and then some.
In addition, it is accused of giving more relevance in its search engine to the contents of its own company, which was classified as unfair competition.
Well that is a shocker.
Back to WA and Google:
WA has become an extension of my life, and I appreciate everything I have learned here and the beautiful wonderful community I choose to call my family.
Case in hand, I have tried to let go of the ranking system. Unfortunately, it does affect my enthusiasm to continue.
It took me less than two months to go from a 12 with ambassador status to a 164 with the loss of that status. This was my fault. I suffered a loss during the Christmas time many years ago that I have not been able to let go. I hide myself from the world and myself if that makes any sense.
Case in hand, I have tried to let go of the ranking system. Unfortunately, it does affect my enthusiasm to continue.
Sometime in January, I got back to WA, posting several articles on my website. Being an active participant in doing my best to reply to comments, congratulate people on their successes, and help when ever I could. By the end of January I was at a 64 rank seemed like I was there for an eternity. Somewhere around February my rank went to 52, that was OK. I published another article close to 8000 words, had it indexed. I was still active within the WA community and trying my best. Even provided site comments, which is something I do not feel too confidant in my abilities to offer. My site details are all 100% except for plugins at 60%. I got to be active, I know. My rank went up to 54 two days ago after all this, (mumbo jumbo). I walked away for the rest of the day expecting my rank would go up due to my lack of activity. Today my rank went to 52 and I did nothing to earn it.
I know I have a lot to learn, my learning curve will continue through my life. I have got to learn how to explain myself better too. The logic here with Google frustrates, confuses me and makes me want to just call it quits. I hope the day does not come when I am overwhelmed by the negativity I feel from Google. Just like you I am here to win, giving up would make me lose out on a great opportunity. But my gosh, I am really at the edge.
I live in Ontario, Canada and pay WA on a monthly basis. After the US, Canada conversion that is almost 74.00 dollars a month, not exactly but close to 900.00 per year. No, I can not pay yearly. That is a personal story and everyone will have to wait for the book to come our, before knowing why.
Sometimes just accepting something because it may seem our our control, should not be easily accepted. If there is doubt let us find clarity. If there is a question, it has to be asked.

Sometimes there are times when life and emotions take over our ambition and our motivation. It doesn't matter, life is made of challenges and you have gone through one and you will go through others again. If the rank in WA is important to you, you will get it back to your rank as an ambassador because you have enough motivation and mental strength for it. But do not base your success on the ranking number because it does not mean much about the success of your business on the internet. Keep faith in yourself and you will get there.

Perhaps there was some misunderstanding. What bothers me is the way the ranking system is set up. If it is based on hard work, contributions, posts, comments and blogs, my rank should not be at the 52 as it is at now. The whole idea for me, ranking should be interpreted like a school report card. I worked a lot of hours yesterday, I do not regret it but, yes I am disappointed. It is broken and it needs fixing regardless of, if my rank is 164 or 52. New members start off with a high rank, imagine how good they feel when they see that rank dropping down rapidly. It is a form of encouragement. But when they get to the low numbers, this all disappears. At least that is my opinion based on my observations.
Ingrid I really like your comments, and my faith in some sort of change occurring in the ranking system will remain.

You are right and you are not the first to say it about the rank and I hope that they will finally hear it and that it will bring about change.
Great post, Michael. We leave in a whole of some straight talk but a whole barrel of mumbo jumbo.
That is because as humans, our weakness is we look for that mumbo jumbo “perceptions“ and get sold on that. That is precisely how people get scammed.
A banker friend of mine told me that if you promise 10% interest, which is good in this time and age, you still get people being uninterested. But if you “promise” 5 percent per month. You get many showing up to listen and enough people will give you their money. This model is called the Ponzi scheme.
Getting the facts right and asking questions as you mentioned is necessary to making right decisions.

If I feel I work hard enough I am not going to settle for less than what is rightfully due to me. Yes, I agree we should not focus too much on this ranking system. Either get rid of it, or make it work for the members that deserve the proper credit. Be right, be fair or don't be at all.

Got you on that. Like I said on my blog in my response to you that the ranking doesn't really works as its intended to do in spite of high activity this is my point and seems to be random. I dislike kvetching about it to Kyle. I don't think I will get a response from him other than to refer me to the points he laid out on the ranking system under the paying it forward topic. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the mumbo jumbo stuff.
Hi Brenda, I think something is broken here. By trade I am an auto tech, if it is broke I will discuss the issue and try to fix it.

I think you forgot another big one, FB tries to shape your opinion, will not have that, no way!
A friend had posted a video on the dangers of 5G inside a closed group. Comes FB and says fact check: no studies say it is harmful.
Bet you, could not help myself and posted a Youtube of Senator Blumenthal who asked some high-level people of 5G companies if there were any studies to prove it is harmless.
Oh, surprise, there do not exist studies, there are no studies in progress and there are neither studies planned for the future.
There are thousands of studies warning of the danger to all living things on 3 and 4G.
We really should use our grey cells and not get brainwashed by the big ones.

Hi Taetske,
Whether it be a 3G or 5G network they all produce radio active waves that are harmful. It is the same with spending long periods of time in front of a computer. I use a Himalayan Salt lamp to get rid of the UV rays. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but if you research the benefits of this lamp, either through my web page or on your own I think it be very informative. Sorry if I went off on a different topic.
I feel that some people in power are prone to abusing it, even make up their own stories to support their own cause.
We got to be true to ourselves and not succumb to those who are in power or have a monopoly over some of our everyday needs.
