My Apologies

FOR WHAT REASON

I was born on an island, called the "Pearl of The Indian Ocean". That pearl suffered some gruesome attacks Easter Sunday.

My home land was called Ceylon, later to be called Sri Lanka. I still have cousins, aunts, uncle's and so on.

While people were attending church, they were blown up by so called suicide bombers. Tourists enjoying this island blown up. Sorry guy's the virgins have left the building in disgust to your actions.

I have been unable to reply or correspond with my WA family. I apologize. You all mean a lot to me, that will never change, it will only grow.

I am so tired of losing people I love, my parents even though they lived a full life. My wife, my daughter and I am not aware of anyone if any I may have lost in my homeland.

The home I grew up in (1)

The Ceylon Tea Factory my Dad used to run.

This was my Island in The Sun offered to me.

Same home different angle,

Can... is my land now, and her rewards have been bountiful. I worked hard and I was able to accomplish a life with no wants or needs.

Mentally I died when I lost my wife and daughter. WA, gave me a reason, you have provided me with hope, not for money but for purpose. Sorry I think there are too many comma's being misused by me.

I have not been able to respond to the e-mails from WA. Another sleepless night in the works. There is no way I will go without acknowledging how grateful I am to you.

I will always be here to support you, to encourage you and to try to be the cheerleader Cherry is. The little knowledge I have gained is not mine to keep, but to share as you have shared with me.

I have so much faith in you, through your persistence, patience and determination you will find success.

One of the many people I would like to acknowledge is Bob M. I am blessed to have friends like you. I just glanced over at my e-mails. It's all WA.

All of you have been an incredible inspiration to me. I will try my best to refrain from silly comments when watching Jay's videos. He is a wealth of knowledge and there is so much to gain from his video tutorials.

Thank you all

Michael.....AKA lesabre

I was in Ceylon (and it was Ceylon in the early 1960s) as a young woman passing through on a ship from France to Hong Kong. I went into the island for a few hours and I still remember the richness of the greenery.

My consolations! Why? I don't know.

Thank you, very much appreciated.
Michael.

Michael, I am so sorry about your homeland you have my sympathies and condolences. I don't know what else to say but you have been a great friend to me and I hope that I can be a great friend to you as well.

I am here for you if you want to chat about anything. I just hope and pray that you will have faith that everything will be alright and that Sri Lanka will rebuild and will be bigger and better then she was.

And don't worry about WA we will always be here for you no matter what.

Mary

Thank you, very much appreciated.

You are so very welcome Michael no worries

Michael,

No need for apologies, rather please accept our heartfelt thoughts and prayers for the victims of your native land and for those who were visiting and attending Easter Sunday services there.

In the face of loss, loss by which you too have been so deeply affected, we also face the loss of words which can properly console and offer much needed comfort. Even in that difficult and untenable situation we need to express our sincere sympathy and condolences.

I have been repeating this phrase lately, one which was inspired by a verse in a Christian song: "What will I give in return?". That question can be asked in regards to any aspects of our lives in which we feel blessed and may want to pay it forward somehow.

And so, although it is not a material thing or something that can be traded for money, we all come together in the wonderful WA worldwide community and interact, collaborate, aid and support one another, cheer on each other's victories and share in the sorrow and the grief of each other.

That is what what I think that we can all give in return.

Blessings!

Thank you, very much appreciated.
Michael.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Michael. This is truly difficult to bear.
This too shall pass
Lots of love 💕

Thank you, very much appreciated.
Michael.

You’re welcome 😊

The occurrence of such heinous acts has become all to familiar...Yet becoming desensitized is something we will never be. No apology is necessary Micheal and we should share your outrage and sadness....not only are we a family of WA but of the World in which we all live. Be well.

Thank you, very much appreciated.
Michael.

My prayers are with you, your loved ones, and everyone in Sri Lanka. It is tragic and senseless, and if there's anything the community can do to help you, please let us know.

I visited Sri Lanka In 2007 when it was slowly building a tourist economy after years of fighting on the island. We loved it and I still have friends there who keep in touch using social media. I am so sorry for what's happened, I think of all the poor people who lost loved ones and the local hardworking people who's work in tourism will once again be badly hit. Michael my thoughts are with you, you must be a very strong man and you have my admiration. Kind regards Mike

I thank you so much Mike. I hope you found your visit to Sri Lanka a good one.

Words fail me really, I would like to say something original but the brutality of the bombings in Sri Lanka is just too much. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of anguish. If I can help in any real way please let me know. WA community is a great inspiration to cling onto, please do, we will help you where we can.

Wow, thank you. I am just wondering are the folks I left behind if they are OK. We prayed in those churches my gosh.

This type of brutality has to stop. Innocent tourists blown away. Children joining their parents in prayer. Technically I am not supposed to use religion or politics on WA. I will abide by these rules because to some degree I do I believe it is necessary. Born and raised Roman Catholic/Christian. In the name of ones faith no one has a right to inflict their insanity on any group or individual.
Once again, thank you so much
Michael
