Great Source For Answers

Hi WA Family, hope everyone is doing well, staying safe and healthy.
I would just like to make a comment on all the help I get from the live chat forum.
Unfortunately, I do not feel this resource gets the recognition it truly deserves. If I need a quick answer to a problem I may be having I go to, "Live Chat". It takes less than a minute before I have my answer. There are many knowledgeable individuals who seem to be on this forum on a regular basis. There are times I just go on live chat to read the questions and learn from the answers. If I am able, I will contribute.
The other part of the live chat is, I find it quite refreshing. I can chat with my friends, find out how they are. Get to know them better.
What I have not seen is these members getting any credit for the countless people they help. I know they are not doing it for credits, but my gosh I have seen chats go on for an hour on occasion where members try to find a solution to another member's problem(s). They do this with patience and persistence.
Once in a while, I go on to the page where it shows our WA ranking. It disappoints me to see some of these members not ranking higher than where they are. I encourage you to visit live chat and you will recognize the quality and knowledge shared on this forum.
Yes, there is a friendly chat that happens when no one has a question that needs to be solved. Live chat contributes to great building blocks of a great friendly helpful community. Yet, I feel the contributions offered are not given the same recognition they deserve. I really hope in the New Year these contributors to WA will be given some sort of credit for all the help they offer. I am certainly thankful for the live chat, and the members that are there to answer my questions.
What is all this text without a great saying? I think we all need to adjust our sails from time to guide our vessel in the right direction.

People like Shannon, Joe, Chrystopher and Diane who are there every day supporting and helping.
I also agree that these members should be ranking much higher for the support that they provide.
I do try my best to drop in often but cannot take the kind of credit that our regular LC members deserve.

Now that I am a little more experienced I try to pay the kindness of those members who helped me forward, helping out where I can. The live chat is truly one of the greatest resources we have here at WA, and certainly one of the quickest ways to receive answers to questions. It's great of you to shine a light on it :)

I never visited the "Live Chat".
But, it sounds like a great place.
I will visit there in the near future.
By the way, the quote you introduced is quite touching and convincing.
We don't need to be discouraged because we can't change the direction of the wind. Instead, we are encouraged to adjust our sails to reach our destination.

I was very disappointed this week however that I was referred to as a joke for not answering quick enough and I also got swore at.
There have been a few instances of this as of late.
It goes over my head but this should never be tolerated and members new or not who do this or make sarcastic remarks should take a long look at themselves as they are operating a business on a highly regarded platform.
It is a fantastic resource where people give of their time and this should be appreciated. An excellent reminder, all the best, Phil
