good life in the dog house

Every body has some time in there life where they look up and find that they have a situation where they haft to find a solution to the problem,

That's what happen to me in my mid 30s,

The story go's I realized that I was out numbered. I would run in to a situation where I need to get ready to go somewhere and I need to clean up by taking a shower or shave. I would proceed to the bathroom and the door was close, I would knock and I would hear a voice saying," I am washing my hair, be out shortly," has that ever happen to you?

It always seemed that it was getting where it happen more frequently, that's when I started realizing that I was out numbered, four to one is bad odds, I had to fix the problem,

One bathroom was not going to work with four women against one man.

Solution to the problem,

As my wife was doing her normal things around the house, she seen me in the back yard measuring and driving stakes in the ground behind the garage,

when I came in to the house she asks me what I was doing . I answered, I am going to build myself a dog house just for me.

Her answer was "great" I will help you plan it so it will be complete, the planing begin

the floor plan was 30 ft. X 12 ft. to start with. I wanted a full bath room that is 10ft. X12ft. So I can have room for all the things I need.

Washbasin
toilet
clothes rack and a dressing area.
Water heater

That's leaves 20ftx12 for the computer desk and work space for hobby projects.

Did I miss anything?

Good days ahead, now when I need to get ready for the day I just head for my nice dog house and leave the noise behind. Have you heard the song "there will be peace in the valley " well there is peace in the dog house.

I guess that is what you would call a man's cave. Work for me!!!
