What's your deepest fear?
Last night I watched the true story of coach carter played by Samuel L Jackson, well I watched it again. If you're not familiar with it. It's about Ken Carter who coached the Richmond High School Oilers basketball team.
He gained notoriety in 1999 when he cancelled all of his then undefeated teams games because 15 of his players were failing academically. This became know as "the lock out"
Yep the parents were pretty pissed to say the least.
His focus was education first, basketball second or as he said it, "it's a privilege to play basketball and to earn that privilege you need to focus on your education first".
And one of the best parts of the show is when one of the players named Timo Cruz
answers the question coach carter kept asking him:
What's your deepest fear?
Timo repeated the speech coach carter gave to the boys earlier on and it's the poem by Marianne Williamson (he also said he saved his life)....
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others"
So I say to every wealthy affiliate member who reads this - be BOLD, be STRONG and SHINE BRIGHT!!
I believe in you! Always have, always will.

hank you Leo. When I get this kind of question it invites immediate brainstorming. To be honest my deepest fear is that I can't put out certain ideas and help for those in need before mortality runs out.
Hi Leo, thank you, I guess that is indeed what hold us back, the fear of success. I love Marianne Williamson and I have read several books of her. Being a loser has been very safe (always to blame someone else), and being successful is unknown territory, here the fear comes in
That was great Leo, and I've always been a fan of Marianne Williamson!
You asked, so I will answer.
My greatest fear at this particular moment I'm sorry to say, revolves around our new President Elect.
I'm very afraid!
Hahaha, I'll keep hope close by.
Very inspiring Leo, we all of us face our own challenges it is how we shape up that counts the most, thank you.
Great Post
This inspirational poem was written by Marianne Williamson
( Return to Love) I think Nelson Mandela was also quoted using this beautiful poem.
Leo, this is fantastic!
My biggest fear has always been waking up one morning and not knowing what to do first, or where to start......

Thanks Leo. This is indeed a great question and, to be honest, I don't know the answer when I ask it of myself.
