What Happens If Your WA Membership Payment Fails?
I promised I would post a reply after talking to Kyle regarding premium membership payment failures and what happens when it occurs.
In a nut shell if your membership payment fails the WA will try 3 re-bill attempts.
Here's Kyle's reply:
These are usually 3-4 days apart, this is determined by the merchant though and we don't control the "rebill attempts". But the entirety of the rebill attempt process is usually 10-12 days for all 3 of them.
End of Kyle's reply.
I just want to add if your payment fails for the 3rd time you will loose access to the members area. But not to worry everything will be here, all you have to do is re-activate your account.
Hope this helps

Great to know Leo - I thought my payment may have temporarily failed, but I'm still here, aren't I?
Thanks for the info Leo, but don't you have up to 30 days to reactivate before your account is gone?
Because I've had my membership revoked a few times over the months I've been here, and I've always had to resubscribe before a month.
Your account is never gone, just the ability to access your account will be denied until you decide to re-activate it.
I think the 30 days you may be referring to is if you do decide to not return if this happens or you decide to cancel your membership, and you have domains you own hosted here, you have 30 days to transfer things to alternative hosting.
However if you bought your domain names here you will always have access to your domain names as the WA is your domain registrar.
Ohh, yeah, I think you may be right, because one time I did lose a domain, but I was able to re-activate.

Thanks Leo.
By the way, my cat is called Leo.
You're welcome, great name for your cat
I call him alternate names too, though:
Mr Pussycat
Mr Puddytat
My Pongypaws
Fluffy Meowykins
Don't worry, though, I won't call you by any of those names.
