Updating Your Optin Form - Here's What I Did

I did post this as a reply to a thread by Chrissies but I also wanted to post it as well so everyone has the chance to make the appropriate updates.

I use aweber as my autoresponder and here's the two things I added to my optin form. I also have an image of the form below so you can see what it looks like.

This is just below the form fields, with a acceptance button:

By using this form you agree with the storage and handling of your data by this website. (my domain name went here) will use the email address you provide through this form to provide you access to my free mini course as well as occasional business updates, and maybe even special offers. Sound good? (If you don't agree, you cannot proceed.)

And then below my submit button I added this:

If you change your mind at any time, just click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email you receive from me. Your information is safe and it won’t be shared with anyone.

I use Aweber as my marketing automation platform. By clicking above to submit this form, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to Aweber for processing in accordance with their privacy policy and terms.

And I also have active links to Awebers privacy policy and terms.

Feel free to copy the text for your optin forms, just make sure to add your domain name, change the name of your autoresponder service and change what they are optining in for. For me it's a video course.
