Thoughts and prayers to hockey team
Yesterday Friday April 6th the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team was on their way to a playoff game in northeastern Saskatchewan Canada.
They were in a crash that occurred at around 5 p.m. on Highway 35 north of Tisdale. 15 poeple have died and another 14 have been sent to hospital.
I just wanted to say to that my thoughts and prayers are with the team, famlies and everyone else that is affected by this tragedy.

We on Vancouver Island have been sadly following this as well. It is sad to think that a sport so loved by Canadians has such a drastic death toll given that the majority of our young players and their teams come from small towns and must travel long distances in buses travelling in marginal winter conditions.
Like you Leo, our thoughts and prayers are sent to all those affected by this tragedy.
Sorry to hear this Leo. I am a huge hockey fan. Yes, thoughts and prayers are with the players, their families, and all affected.
Truly tragic event with so many young lives being cut short.

I'm Canadain and I feel it as well, it brings back memories of the 4 members of the Swift Current Broncos that were killed in a bus crash in Saskatchewan in 1986.
I am in the Hat, Medicine Hat. The Tigers here play that team. I won't pretend to be an avid fan, but as a Canadian, we all do feel the pain. Makes us family. Thanks for post and the opportunity here for us to send prayers.
You're welcome, I just thought people should know, and that all these people affected can use all the support they can get - it's going to be a hard road ahead for many
