Microsoft Office 365 - Yeah Baby!

I just purchased Microsoft office 365 last night. I should have done this along time ago. I was just hesitant of having to pay a yearly subscription for it.

But after really checking this out I'm more then happy to do so.

There are so many features, SkyDrive, word, excel, powerpoint, OneNote, just to name a few but to me the 2 best features are:

1) I can load office 365 onto 5 devices including mobile - before I would have had to buy a new install disk for each device at over $170 a pop.

2) Office is constantly updated where a stand-alone upload (disk) is never updated.

Just thought I would share. Here's PDF of what you can do with365 if you've been thinking of getting it:

I believe in you

I was selling it in my work and it´s great. But now I use google drive and like it a lot. Free and the only thing I miss is the outlook. But if people are sending a lot of words and excel, 365 is better.

I don't use outlook, but I use word, excel and powerpoint and I find it much nicer then my old disk installed version

It is a good deal and value plus for the resources that come with it.

Yeah I'm digging it

Thanks for this post was just considering this for Outlook yesterday but didn't consider all the other perks

KarynW, I use outlook.com online for my mail. I have for several years now and love it. I can get to my mail from any of my devices I can hit the net with. Plus - they back it up. I had a bad pc crash about 3 years ago and lost email and with it a bunch of my software licenses and photos. Now I use dropbox to store all my important files and outlook online for my mail.- Shirley I do pay $10/month for dropbox storage. Here's a review of outlook.com mail and gmail.com http://www.itpro.co.uk/email-providers/24794/gmail-vs-outlookcom-which-one-is-better

Yep, it's way better then a one time stand alone disk install that's for sure

Excellent tool Leo, many thanks for sharing!

I've had it for awhile, and I like the Cloud feature for backup - that saved me $80 or $90 a year. It's a great suggestion for anyone. Thanks for bring it up. Ted

Yep, the cloud feature is nice, haven't used as of yet

Thank you for the tip Leo, I have been on Microsoft office 365 for a few years now, unfortunately, I don't use it to its full potential. I could really do some training on Microsoft products at some point.

All the best to you Leo, Roy

I'm sure I won't use it to it's full potential either, but I already like it so much more then just a standard disk install.

All the best to you as well

I hear you, Leo, definitely much better than the standard disc install.

It is so worth it, and the smartphone apps as well to work remotely!

Yeah looking forward to using those

Thank you Leo. Time to consider Microsoft upgrading!

It's worth it and it's cheap - for me $109 per year Canadian

Thank you so much for sharing this & the link. I purchased Microsoft Office Years ago. I was thinking about purchasing an updated one for my desktop & laptop. This will definitely save me money.

You'll save big time

Great choice

Yep it sure was
