Basic html
I typically get a few PM's a week asking me about basic HTML, which is fine and I like that members are adding skills.
Now I was going to have an HTML cheat sheet here but due to the content duplication program the WA has when I tried to post the cheat sheet it won't let me because the HTML I am sharing is posted all over the internet.
So the next best thing I can do is provide you with a link to a fantastic resource to learn basic HTML.
Now if you're not familiar with HTML. HTML is the content on your site, so the words, the images and so on. This is different from CSS, CSS defines the design rules of your site, so it defines what your content actually looks like.
And because of this separation of CSS and HTML this is why you can switch from one theme to another and make your website look different but all your content stays the same.
Now I recommend you create a test site from one of your free site rubix sites and use that site to play around with HTML and other things like, themes, CSS and such instead of doing things on your live site.
This way you can play and screw up as much as you want and not have to worry that you've screwed up your live site. And once you understand and get things the way you want you can apply things to your live site with out any complications.
So here's that link for you. Oh, W3schools is a great resource for more then just HTML, the main W3schools URL is somthing you should book mark.
Enjoy!!

Thank you so much for this. I still have a lot to learn but having people like you sharing things means I learn much quicker

I've been using W3 school for years. Not only do they help with basic HTML but CSS and PHP as well. If you have a thorough understanding of those 3 programming languages, there isn't much you can't do with WordPress.
Wow Leo, this is very cool! Thanks... I can't wait to try these out.
I have this bookmarked too.
