A Must Do If You Plan On Moving Your Website

This will be quick, but it's very important.

If you plan on moving your website. You MUST keep the 301 redirect in place for at a minimum of 1 year according to Google.

And that's because if you remove the 301 redirect before then Google may have not crawled your site enough times to recognize that you have permanently moved your website.

Do I understand correctly, this means you keep the old site for one year after you created the new target site?

I know redirect for individual posts, but how is this done with everything on a site?
