A 1000 Per Day

Ok we all should know by now the road to online success is not complicated - and that's shown by the training here.

However I see many people getting distracted wanting to try this or do that - and they're not focused on the very basics of building their business.

CONTENT!!

So forget all the other things (for now) and focus just on your content - set a simple goal - a 1000 words per day. If you can't do that and I say that because we all have lives and families.

Shoot for a 1000 words every 2 days.

And then follow the 7 steps that Jay outlined in his webinar. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co...

Myself and many other people I know, members too have been using these steps well before Jay did his webinar - and yep they work.

But they only work if you're consistent. Posting content every so often is not going to cut it no matter what steps you use.

Getting noticed is getting harder and harder every day - so you need to be consistent.

And no it's not easy - but if you truly want to succeed online you're going to have to do the work, there's no way around it.

And once you have money coming in then look at outsourcing your content.

You may not be able to outsource all of it. But if you can outsource 5 or 10 articles per month and your schedule is to post every 2 days. With 10 articles being written for you - you have 20 days of content and you only have to write for the other 5 days to fill out your month.

Go on a writing binge.

Set aside a few days and just write, do nothing else. And depending on things you can crack out 5, 10 or even 15 - 1000 word articles. Now schedule them to automatically post for you.

You now have a buffer because you have content scheduled to post, now you can write with a little less pressure. Keep that buffer and you're golden.

And with the new site content feature you have a great tool inside the WA to help you meet your goals.

A 1000 words a day - simple but very effective.

And yep some posts may be longer and heck maybe some will be less than a 1000 words - don't worry about it.

I see people driving themselves nuts trying to find the magic secret number of the word count in posts.

And of course you'll get a hundred different answers on what teh magic number is. Which just ends up confusing more people. If you’re obsessing over word count you're focused on the wrong thing. STOP!!!

Simply write until you've said what you need to say - and I find when you do that you naturally create useful, helpful and engaging content that seems to always come out to about a 1000 words or more.

But hell who's counting - right - LOL

I believe in you

Thank you for your blog post Leo, very good advice. Something I've noticed from all the successful Internet marketers is their consistency and perseverance, in fact, it is no different from an off-line business! Consistency works!

All the best to you Leo, Roy.

Spot on - the secret sauce - consistency. All the best to you as well.

Thanks Leo, as a newbie it helps set a direction. I am writing about a 1000 words a day. I'm just not happy with the quality of the content at this moment. However, I'm going to continue to developing this habit and to enjoy it more. Ed

Heck when I first started my content was certainly not the best either. But as you keep writing you'll content will just keep getting better and better.

Thanks,that's my direction

I like that. Yes, shoot for 1000 words per 1-2 days.

Yep, simple but very powerful

Ok ... I've seen the word consistent and 1000 words a day repeated several times. So I'm making some assumptions.

1) Consistency refers to your posting schedule.
2) A 1000 words a day refers to a measure of content production.

Posting consistency is treated most favorably by the search engines thereby having the best impact on our SERPS.

That is why you recommend building a posting reserve, a content bank account so to speak. This will help assure that we stay on our posting schedule that results in posting consistency.

Our posting schedule may be 5 times a week, 2 times a week, or even once a week depending on our average bank account balance.

Binging on content creation is ok, but binging on content posting is not because that results in posting inconsistency.

You are right I have found being consistent to be one of the big things. Consistent good enough content will out do occasional outstanding content every time.

When you get right down to it the Internet will be ruled by good content. I have never seen a blog or website yet that was super successful that did not have someone writing good content.

Good advice, going to follow it, Thanks, Deanna

You're welcome

Plan it, schedule it and do it! It really is simple; It may be hard but it is NOT complicated unless you make it that way!

Yep people always find a way to make things more complicated then they need to be.

thanks for the info good stuff I need to start ASAP communityhelpingpeople.com

I did 1300 today so far! And you are so right...thanks for the great advice. I am going to check out that seminar you mentioned.

Elizabeth

Yeah you'll really like Jays webinar - just make it part of your content routine

Very wise and to the point. It is actually that simple! But I tend to put off my writing and stress on everything else, when actually, I am missing the basics. Thanks for the reminder Leo! :)

You're welcome - I'm sure you're familiar with this acronym K.I.S.S. - Fits every senario.
