Starting a 2nd website!
I must be insane. I have barely begun my first website, but I already felt compelled to start my second. You see, when I started my first website, I followed Kyle's instructions on picking a niche - and then realized that althought I am a potential consumer for that niche, I really don't have much interest in writing about it. One of the main reasons I joined WA is because I have zero passion for my job. Suffice to say I am not super excited about the prospect about building an online business that I have don't have any passion for.
So here I am. I started with Lesson 1 and am starting from scratch. I am finally starting the Mom Blog that I have been dreaming of starting for the past two years. I know it's not the more specific niche that we are taught to go after, but I can't get my mind off of it, so I am taking my cue and going for it! I do have a few posts written already so I should be able to get this website to a similar point as the first one fairly quickly. I may continue on with the first website once I get the new one rolling, if only to say that I didn't quite!
Anyone else start a second site at almost the same time as their first?

I had initially pictured getting one up and running and monetized before I started a second, but I am glad I decided to go with my gut. :) Best of luck on your third!

Sometimes our 1st niche is a great starter and good luck with your 2nd site- Building a solid foundation with great content will get you moving forward and I wish you all the best

Thanks so much, Vicki! I am going to continue to work on both...the first will be for a learning tool and the 2nd will be my passion. :) And I'm sure I'll start more websites to come as there is so much in this world I want to write about. I just need to make sure I am doing it in a relevant way that will attract readers.
