Do you feel successful right now?
After reading an excellent post yesterday and a wonderful message this morning, the idea of what success is or isn't dwelt in my mind. I know it is different for everyone but most people consider success as either having a lot of money or being famous, or both.
In that sense, I have never felt any successful. If you read my profile, you might think I've
achieved a lot but to me, it seems nothing special. I always considered things I could do well as normal and admired talents and skills of others.
Now I do think I am good at some things and I do think I'm special, but still have never thought I was successful. My income is nothing special, rather below the average. But I do what I love.
However, success is not about money. Or fame. If we make one person happy living in this world, if we make one life better, be it a person or an animal, inspire someone or lift them up, isn't that being very successful?
Today I do feel happy, grateful and successful. Just being here in this wonderful community
and possibly affecting someone's life with something I write makes me feel succesful no matter than I haven't had any referrals or commissions.
It will come. For now, I want to enjoy the feeling of being successful just by being me and being here.
WA brings out the best of us, our best qualities and amplifies
it and the universe send us syncronicities so we know it is real.
A dream come true.

Many chase the dollar and end up miserable during their life.
Doing what you love, and having enough money to be financially free to do what you love - that is truly blessed.

Dave, that's what I thought, doing what I love is a privilege and I feel blessed to be able to do that even though the income isn't high.

The key for me is being contented in all situations.
Living in this moment is all we have.
I have known people with stacks of money and they have been miserable.
Contentment, where we are now, is all we need.

In my case, I am grateful every day for the family that I have this has been for me the greatest achievement. I had a dad and I have an exemplary mom. What else can I ask for? 2020 is a number that I like very much I hope that a lot of joy in our hearts spills into this wonderful international community. Thank you very much Lenka!

People who truly understand this are people who are able to live in present moment, embrace it and enjoy it.
Success has many shapes and different meanings to each of us.
Being rich & famous is most common but rather superficial :-)
(wanting a fame is ego based wish and not my thing at all)
Having a lot of money - yes but in the way of financial freedom to BE and DO what ever you need and want to further develop, learn, travel (if you like) and enjoy life.
Yes - we do need to have our own plans and stick to it but also should enjoy the present moment all the time. Be aware of NOW.
I am positive that people who love life - life loves them back ;-)

Vesna, you've expressed some brilliant thoughts in your comment. My opinion of money and fame is the same. Fame is ego-based, I absolutely agree and it's not something I long for at all either. Money for financial freedom and doing what I want to do is necessary. Enjoying the present moment brings the good vibes and all the good things in our lives.
