Is anybody using carrd website building service?
I know that we are supposed to produce our websites on Wordpress platform :)
I will ask you anyways. I've stumbled upon https:

I remember right at the start of the training Kyle said don't change the admin password or you won't be able to login. You should be able to add a new user though.
I'd send a support ticket and ask the question there. :)
Thanks Kathy. I wanted to ask the community first but it looks like I'll end up bothering the support anyways :)
I remember the same thing, Kathy331. However, I changed mine, before I read that!. I just login under another username. It works fine.

Here are some suggestions, see if any work for you, this is the WordPress.Org site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/multi-language
Thank you very much, Kim. I will check it out.
I was counting more on the experience of WA members when it comes to multilingual. But I suppose that majority only do English sites...
I only know a little Spanish. And yes, in the US most people speak English, and the majority of the social sites are for the US. I did ask Kyle about this with social sites in other countries. They don't use the same ones as us. Right now, 92% of my visitors to my site are US.
Let me know how things go!
Have a great weekend,
Kim
I am planning for the multilingual website (content and e-commerce) in at least 5 languages - no English :)
Looks like WPML Enterprise is my first choice...
Thank you very much for your wishes - have a great weekend too :)

Hi, fellow WA-ers, please help me out with this one.
Are you using a gallery plugin for organising and displaying the images on your websites? Or are satisfied with the b
Try Gallery Bank - I think it has all that you're needing. NextGEN seems to be the most well known but I've never liked it.
Gallery Bank was updated less than an hour ago by it's developer. It has a paid version as well ($10) but if it save you time and makes your site look more professional, then it might be worth it I think.
Anybody else has an opinion or suggestion? Or you just don't use galleries or gallery plugins?
I have several websites that utilize Google+ Photo gallry and integrate with the website though Picasa and Google Plus Express . here is an example of what you can do.... http://explorenmb.com/north-myrtle-beach-st-patricks-day-parade-and-festival scroll down to bottom of page
doesn't do all that you want. but its a nice effect and does not use resources from my host
sorry I can't help you, because I have same problem. You much be build a e-commerce website. I stare try to build a e-commerce website too. many time I ask the question, one can answer, We got teach by Kyle and Carson on affiliate only. Happy

Hi everybody.
I would like to create a subdomain for an existing domain / site which is live and hosted on a non WA hosting. The DNS zone files for this domain are maintai
Hey Ervin,
Once the DNS of your domain is pointing to Wealthy Affiliate you can create as many subdomains as you want. Just go to your domains page and add a subdomain.
Or, when creating a website enter a subdomain into the "domain I own" box.
Subdomains are absolutely possible and they are setup the exact same way you would setup a normal domain here at WA.
You do not need to configure anything at your domain registrar. Your domain is already pointing at WA nameservers and that is all you need.

Hi Carson and thank you for the answer.
Yes, I know that I can add subdomains through the interface at WA once DNS for the domain is pointing to WA servers.
But I have (at the time) the domain, site and DNS files elsewhere. This means I have to migrate everything to WA to create a subdomain here.
Hey Ervin,
Ahh, OK thanks for the clarification on what you are trying to do.
Here's some training that may help you transfer your site to Wealthy Affiliate:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-transfer-a-wp-site-to-wa-hosting
Cheers,
Carson
Thanks for the link to the training, Carson. But I can't see Welshy's video. Can you see it?
Since at my other hosting I have root access I'll do it manually. After all it is my server :)
He Ervin,
Moving the site over manually really is the only option, so it's great that you have root access.
Welshy (Craig)'s video shows the manual process but you'll need flash to play it in your browser. IT's an older video that uses a previous version of our video player.
Let me know if you run into any issues moving the site over to WA servers.
Carson
Thanks. So the answer is: it is not possible.
The thing is that the domain is currently at my own server which is in collocation. I will terminate it in due time because it is cheaper to have plain hosting. I don't need the power of full server.
So I will have to migrate anyway. I just wanted to make sure if I can create a subdomain here without migrating.
OK, I'll take the migration as an exercise :)
Hi Ed, no this is not correct, there is no need to do anything at the domain registrar.
Do add a subdomain for a domain that is already pointing at Wealthy Affiliate, you just need to add the subdomain here:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/domains
You can add any subdomain you want for a domain that is pointing to Wealthy Affiliate nameservers.

Hi Carson I was repling to what he said --(non-wa) is all--- not the rest !!!
(I would like to create a subdomain for an existing domain / site which is live and hosted on a( non WA hosting). The DNS zone files for this domain are maintained elsewhere too.)
I am glad you answer all of his question --
Ed and Carson, thank you for your input.
I decided to migrate the site to WA. I will have to do it anyway in the near future so why not now? :)
Is there a WA specific migration guide when you are migrating the site from any hosting to WA with the domain left intact? I can't find it via search box.
If not I can make notes and publish it here as a training.
