Response to I dont have tons of spare time to spend on learning something new.
I find the question of time comes up a lot when embarking on a new adventure such as Wealthy Affiliate. I am a busy person who doesn’t have “extra” time either, but I have made the time to do these lessons. I recall a quote attributed to Warren Buffett that says:
“No matter how great the talent or efforts, some thing just take time. You can’t produce a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant.”
The time required for each lesson depends on a person’s own background and personal experience. For those who already have experience, let’s say, with web building, or with writing about a niche, the lessons may progress faster. however, taking the time to savor each one, to complete each one, brings many rewards. This program is not a “get rich quick scheme.” Most of those are fallacies anyway. So in a nutshell, devote a few minutes a day. Carve out time that works for you and you will see progress. Also, I have found in my own life that making time is a matter of prioritizing. When something becomes important, I make time for it. For example, learning is important to me, so I do not have a television in my house. If you have any questions or need any help, stop by and let me know. I will be happy to help. I’ve launched several businesses over the years and each project has required time.

Well said, before joining WA i watched too much TV, but after starting i had no time for TV. I cancelled my cable feed, and have not even missed it. As you say, it's about what's important.
Cheers
