Is there a way to set up a sales funnel on website within WA?

Just to add on to this thread.

Your sales funnel will start with a sales page, and here are the elements of a sales page: Hope this helps!

Cheers!

Good question, I am going to look into this.

I have the following plug ins installed, Akismet/anti spam, all in one SEO, EWWW image optimizer, Thrive leads (I purchased this one after searching within WA), USM premium soc

Hi Leigh, as mentioned by Miami Beach7 below images could be ccausing the issue, but I am not entirely convinced. Have had similar issues. Another member here at WA suggested using https://sitechecker.pro maybe help you.

John

Hi Leigh, did you check your images and their size? Since they most likely are the problem...you can resize them and make them smaller...does this help, or did you already solve it? Tom

Very valuable info thanks family!

Robert Garrett

First, remove Akismet, you do not need it at WA hosting.

Second, when you check the speed, this should be done twice. Carson has explained this in one blog. This is because the SiteSpeed creates the mirror version of the site, so the actual speed should be instant, at least this is how it was described.

Third. I know a site whose owner is making 6 figures monthly and his site is with the same speed as yours.

Slower the better, for me, less mistakes...
In a hurry...I'm impatient, and I enter the picture FIX, It Now!
I finally hit on a very easy way, the upload, a picture from phone, email...save to...KISS!Most of my situations, are solved Intuitely!
Get stuck, go do a loan of wash! Eureka!..Back on track!
I can never be so high-minded that, I lean on my OWN, Understanding,! Bam! Another, failed. Marriage...getting tired of hitting your head against the same wall...How that working for, ha!

Probably an image issue. Are they optimized?

Images are a major culprit. Several people have addressed this though.

You also may not have activated the initial 3 plug-ins that came with your theme. If you have anything less than 3/3 showing when you click on your dashboard, then you need to activate them. They are not automatically activated when you choose your theme. JuJust click on that ?/3 on your dashboard and click on "activate."

The other thing that is not already listed by people here in your responses is that if you have a plug-in that is not compatible with your theme, then your site speed is going to suffer. When you search the plug-ins here at WA, the information box will say whether or not it is compatible with your theme.

When searching for themes outside of WA you should add "for [theme name]theme" to your search criteria. You should also be able to look up whether or not it is compatible by searching "[name of plug-in] + Word Press [theme name]". This should also tell you what problems you will run into if they are not compatible.

I hope this has helped and that you get it figured out soon.

Anita

Also you can figure out whether plugins are the culprit. But it is 9 out of 10 a story of images that are too big.
Most websites don't show more than 650 pixels width of image, that means anything uploaded above that size is just wasted space and bandwidth. Using an image optimizer will compress the image even further and stuff will go way better with your site.

Watch your images. they may need compression coz you don't have too many plugins. Also try activating your site speed and security.

when you use site rubix and you go to manage site the dash there where you see your stats you will see something that says 1/3 click on that or near that, there is something you can turn to the on position having to do with speeding up your site....i'm not explaining it right but someone else chime in to tell her where this is

Most likely your images. I use TinyPNG. You can compress images up to 5 MB for free and even the pro version is cheap at $25. I had EWWW freebie and still got 17/100. When I used TinyPNG it sped up my mobile to 97/100 and that was only 5 images.
IMAGES are the major culprit.

when you are in site manager, looking at post page, do you need to fill in tags, SEO titles, description and key words for each post?

I think that it's important to fill in this information because you then define the keywords that show up in SEO as it pertains to each page and post.

Yes, you must fill in the SEO titles and description, this is what visitors will see when they look it up on google search. You must put keywords in your posts to google will know what to use.

No, you do not have to fill those in, especially if you are using the All in One SEO Pack plugin that comes with all websites built here with Site Rubix.

If you are following the training here you should know that the title of your page or post that you type in at the top of the WordPress editor window, above your content, will automatically become the SEO Title down below.

The keyword tag should remain blank because Google and the other search engines stopped using that tag more than 3 years ago. They stopped using it because it does not contribute to SEO rankings and people who do put keywords in there were accused of keyword stuffing, which is a big NO NO.

The only tag that is worth filling in is the Description tag because that one will effect SEO and more importantly CTR. It is also the snippet of text that appears in search results if Google feels that it best answers the query by people searching.

Robert, you're the only one who says you don't have to lol. I tend to think you're right cause I haven't come across that in Kyle's teaching yet in bootcamp. But why does everyone else think you have to?
Cheers,
Suzanne

Because they are still following the old and outdated SEO techniques.

And if they use the Yoast SEO plugin, many of that plugin's recommendations are also outdated. Current SEO in regards to ranking with Google and the other search engines has evolved multiple times within the past 3 years.

Google ranks our websites on the entire context of our content and not just on target keywords. Google can easily know what our content is about without having to fill in the keywords meta tag, which is why Google says NOT to pay any attention to that tag.

The training here at WA is up to date and yet you have never heard or seen Kyle teach us to fill in the title and keyword meta tags. Why? Because it is not necessary. I never fill in those two tags and have ranked on Google page 1 dozens of times.

The only tag that is beneficial to fill in is the Description meta tag. This tag helps to get people to click on your page/post when in the search engines. Three years ago, Matt Cutts of Google said, not to pay attention to the keyword tag but do so with the description tag.

Well said Robert. And thanks. I hope that clears it up for everyone :)
Suzanne

it's highly recommended. It optimizes SEO allowing Google to get information on your site and post/pages faster. It also allows you tell you Google how you want it to look at your stuff.

Otherwise, you are depending on Google to figure out what you were trying to do.

Google is the smartest thing on the planet but it still cannot read your mind and know what you doing. :-D

Thank you for this, I was wondering this myself

Me too!

Yeah, you kind of do. I made the mistake of putting in content with out Titles and had go back and re-do.

You can choose not to fill it but filling in those blanks helps. They are the algorithm to optimize your posts for Search Engines.

Absolutely, Leigh!

Take a look at what Robert just posted today about SEO. I would highly recommend that you follow him if you're not already. He really has a tremendous amount of information about how to properly build your online business.

several comments have been left on my posts , but none of them are showing up and I don't know why? thanks for any help

other question is my site as of yesterday is sho

I downloaded https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/
and typed in https in front of my web site url and now I have a green secure lock showing up yah! I hope this is a fix for sure, it automatically fixes mixed content when links are in your posts etc. I found it under support "The reason why you don't see a green SSL lock next to your website URL" section question

Do you have your SSL enabled?

1/ Comments fed through WA need to be approved by you before they will show up on your website, and, for that matter those that you receive from outside. The default setting of comments can be found in your WP Dashboard.

2/ If you are using a siterubix.com website, this feature is not available under this domain. You would have to buy your own domain and then it will show.

Hope that helps.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Regards

Edu

I looked at that as I have my own domain. it's on but I'll check again. Thank you. I'm not sure how to approve the comments but I'll look around Thank you. Or helpful comments I am inviting. :)

This just happened to me a few days ago, Leigh, but instead of me not being able to see the comments, a comment that I left for someone else did not appear.

She sent me PM to let me know, so I left another comment, and that one went through just fine. If a problem should persist for a few days with your site, your best method of defense is to contact Site Support...or would that be offense...

Did you approve the comments?

how do I do that ? I feel so stupid asking that!

when I check if any comments are in my comment section recieved, there are none despite the fact that people have let me know they have left comments ????

Send me a screenshot of the Comments Section with a Private Message - let's get your problem solved.

problem solved I think. unchecked the box under discussion asking people to sign in to word press in order to comment. now it should be working. will test it out in the morning with a family member to see on a different computer. please consider trying one more time commenting on my web site myhealthymunchkins.com thank you so much. I will make sure I follow each and everyone of one that has commented on me.

Something strange is happening to your website theme - it's showing posts vertically rather than horizontally.

Have you done all latest updates lately?

If it persists, maybe consider using a different theme, or maybe it needs to be updated.

See screenshot of how I see it online...

Thank you I noticed it doing this lately once in awhile. Then I refresh it and it goes away
