About Legitimit
Joined October 2017
I am 35, I work very hard and help everyone around me all of the time, I run fund raisers and donate the money I make to those who I am raising money for. Yet all of these things I do do not pay me anything but satisfaction for helping out people. I currently have a part time job 2 1/2 hours of where I live in the city I used to live in. I only take fill in shifts and I am having trouble finding a job that pays me enough to pay my bills and get myself out of the hole. I can type fast, I am an open minded individual, I love to create smiles and to laugh. I was looking into finding a way to make money at home, I stumbled across the Secure Job Position, I didn't feel that it was real, I felt it was a scam, I then received and E-mail from a Beau that brought me to this site. I am a team player and would like to know how this all works and be successful. Hobbies for me are as follows

Fishing, pool, movies, video games, virtual reality, cards, camping, fires, watching football, 4 wheeling, music concerts, and making music. I have 6 albums that I have created over the past 18 years.

I'm really glad you have added these goals, Lawrence!

This tells me you are serious about starting up an online business from home. I can tell you from personal experience (I have been doing this full time for nearly 5 years now) that these goals are very reasonable.

If you treat this like a business and not a get rich quick scheme you will start seeing some awesome results.

Success all starts with a goal and now that you set some goals for yourself you have something to work towards.

With the amount of time you are willing to invest here, I know that you will start making progress and I really am looking forward to working with you Lawrence.

You have an entire community to help you reach these goals. Let me know if you need a hand with anything going forward. I look forward to helping you reach these goals and I will talk to you soon.
Let's do this!!

Thank you Kendra, I am still watching videos and trying to wrap my head around all of this, it's my 2nd day in. I have started working on a site. How long have you been here in WA?
kendra87 Premium

How many sites are you managing? How long did it take for you to start seeing some progress? You have been here 10 months that is quite awhile so I am guessing you are seeing some revenue from your traffic ?

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

I was first thinking Ps4 games since I enjoy video games
then I was thinking Ice fishing equipment since I enjoy fishing. But then I was thinking what would be an awesome selling item that is really popular right now, and I thought fidget spinners. So what would you think would be my best approach for my first niche kind sir :)

Hi Lawrence,

All of these would be a great niche for you to get into but you would need to narrow them down to a more targeted audience.

I happen to be a gamer myself and gaming is one of the first niches I attempted when I first started out nearly 5 years ago.

I narrowed this down to gaming headsets and I focused on reporting all the latest news about gaming and reviewing the hottest headsets on the market today.

I also wrote informative articles to keep my audience engaged and to mix things up a bit.

All of these things seem great, but there is one question that you need to ask yourself and that's which one of these things are you most passionate about?
Before you can find that perfect niche there are a few more questions you need to ask yourself.

1. Is ______ something you could see yourself writing about for the next 3 or 4 years without getting bored with it or running out of things to write about?
2. Does_______ excite you whenever you think about it and do you feel like you have a good amount of knowledge about this topic to help other people?
3. What group of people are you looking to help within this niche? The more you narrow this down and the more targeted you get the better your chances are of being successful.

Also, you should never base your niche on the hottest thing out there that can make you the most money.

As a matter of fact, you shouldn't even be thinking about making money at this point since you have just started.

You should focus on determining who your target audience is and find their struggles and pains and provide them with the painkiller. (AKA your affiliate offers)

Once you do this the money will come, but not before then.

If you base your niche on something you enjoy doing or a hobby of yours, the chances of you being successful have just doubled.

All of this is covered in complete detail as you go through the training and if any of this doesn't make sense to you please let me know and I'll be glad to explain it to you in further detail.

I'll Look Forward To Your Reply Lawrence

Scott you have been super helpful since I got here and I commend you my good man for being there for me through this transition into the affiliate world. I started creating my first site today. I did break it down further and focused on Bass Fishing and Lures. I do see myself talking about bass fishing for the next 4 years because I have been talking about bass fishing for the past 30. I worked on the site and it took me quite awhile to figure out things on it, watched training videos and have been sitting at this computer hacking away for 9 hours today. I am not joking when I say I am determined, my work ethic has always been strong, I just rarely get compensated for it correctly which isn't the end of the world but this time I am working for me. another thing you brought up is the speaking knowledgeably about Bass lures. In the video Kyle said create the page and get it all ready before you start putting in affiliates and links. So that is what I have been working on. I set up the page, I figured out some of the tools, I put in a social network widget, whenever I was stumped I asked for help in the live chat and everyone here is amazing. I feel very supported in this environment, I also know that if I can start bringing in even a little bit of money that the affiliate bootcamp and referring others to join WA will be that much easier for me to do. I need to add to my site before I start the keywords and affiliate, but would you be so kind as to take a look at what I have done so far and maybe throw me some more suggestions. Thank you Scott for your support peace be with you friend.

Hi Lawrence

Sorry for such a late reply man, I've been busy and your message slipped by me somehow.

Glad to hear that I have been able to help you along your affiliate marketing journey so far Lawrence.

It's great to hear that you have created your first site with WA and that you have broken this down into bite-sized pieces.

Yea, it can take quite some time to get the hang of this and everything that's required to make all of this work.

When I first started here I fond myself putting in close to 12 hours a day and sometimes more than that.

I can totally relate to you not being compensated for your work like you should as I have gone through this most of my life until I discovered WA.

Glad to hear that you're enjoying yourself here at WA and as you continue to work your way through the training and immerse yourself into the community you'll find that this is the best place to build a business online.

As a newbie, I wouldn't recommend the affiliate boot camp to you just yet. You should take a while to get to know what WA is all about and how everything works before deciding to promote it.

You'll have much better success by doing this than trying to promote something you don't know much about.

Taking a look at your site, it looks like you're off to a great start but there are a few things you should change and i'll list these for you below.

First and foremost you should remove the huge pic of the fish at the top of your site.

This is pushing down all the content on your page and you need to scroll down to start reading your content.

This makes for a poor user experience and will likely cause your visitors to bounce shortly after they land on your site.

To remove this go into your theme settings and you should be able to find this here. If you need a hand locating this please let me know and I would be more than happy to help you out with this.

Also, you should break up your content into 2 to 3 sentence paragraphs to make this easier to read.

Nobody likes to read big chunks of text and this will likely drive your visitors away.

You need to go through all your posts and pages and make these adjustments.

Also, where are your images? WA just launched their content images platform where you can inject images directly into your posts using their site content feature. Images bring your post to life and give people a visual idea of the message you're trying to portray in your content.

For your about me page you should have a nice image of yourself in the top right. Having an image lets people know that you are in fact a real person and not another internet no name looking to take their money and run.

Once you get these few things fixed and would like me to take another peek at your site please let me know.

I really hope this helps you out Lawrence and please let me know if you have any other questions or need my help.

Welcome To Wealthy Affiliate Lawrence!

My name is Scott and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. You may remember me from my website A Work At Home Business! I'm absolutely thrilled to see that you have signed up and are ready to get to work building an online business.

Building a business can be extremely overwhelming and confusing in itself so I don't want to add to your confusion or overwhelm you any more than you already are.

Starting out, there are only 2 things you need to know.

1. People who TAKE ACTION by asking questions and interacting within the community are much more likely to be successful and learn this stuff faster than someone who joins and does nothing.

2. The level 1 certification course will explain the process of how to make money online and you should have a pretty solid foundation built by the end of this course.

Did you know you can have your first website up and running by the end of lesson 4? Pretty crazy ain't it?

Click the link below to get started on your first lesson *****Gain Access To My Awesome Bonuses*****

For starters, you're going to receive a massive discount of 62% off your first month. This comes out to only $19 which is an amazing deal by itself.

BONUS #1- Gain Instant access to a 3 part video training series where Kyle (Co-Owner of WA) takes you by the hand and walks you through how to create product reviews.

This will give you the basics on how to create product reviews and how to structure them properly.

BONUS #2- You will gain exclusive access to my personal 1 on 1 mentoring and help and support. I'm sure you have seen other Internet marketing gurus out there charging upwards of $2,000 or more for this same kind of support.

Like I said earlier, people who take action are more likely to be successful and this is why I call this my Action Takers Bonus!

This incredible offer is only valid for your first 7 days so don't miss out!

Also, don't forget if you get stuck or have any questions you can respond directly to this message or drop me a message on my profile. Just thought I'd drop by and give you a personal welcome to the community and get you started down the right path to building an online business Lawrence
