Super Wealthy Affiliate Group As A Stay At Home Parent

I am coming up on my fourth month as a Wealthy Affiliate member and my third month as a Super Wealthy Affilate Group (SWAG) member.

Living life SWAG style has been more difficult than I had thought, but, it has also been a learning experience.

Instead of getting frustrated about what task I haven't completed, I have decided to look at what all I have accomplished.

My Family My Life

I am a very active mother when it comes to my children. I am there for every wrestling match, every track meet and every girl scout and 4H event. Rain or shine, hot or cold, I am there.

When my girls are at home, I am on my laptop, most of the time, working away. But you know how us mothers are, we hear everything and have eyes in the back of our head.

When I am on my laptop working on my site, we still have conversations and interact. I don't hide in my room and pretend they aren't there.

This has made it easier for my girls and my husband to adjust to my Working From Home On My Online Business. They have even taken interest in my site and what I do on it.

I am turning 49 April 1 st. (Feeling very blessed to have EASTER and my birthday on the same day) I have raised 5 children who are on their own now and 3 of which have their own families.

I have not stopped being a mother nor will I ever. I just work at home now, instead of in a work environment. And my girls understand that and appreciate it.

My Business At Home

Working online from home has been the best, yet most challenging job I have ever had. As with any beginner entering a NEW job with no previous experience, comes the challenge.

I accepted this challenge and thanks to being a member of the SWAG team, I am being taught that not only can you teach an old dog new tricks, but that dog can stand to benefit from those new tricks.

I have managed to build my business (website), make my own logo and images with links to add as well. I have also made it to the top 200 : )

I have 23 articles written (yes I am a little behind this month) 4 of which are on the first page of google. Two of them are on the first page of 3 main search engines.

This is MY BUSINESS and even though I have fallen behind, I take it serious. I take the training and task serious. Helping others I take serious, which gets me behind as well.

Be Proud-It Does A World Of Good

I am VERY proud of myself for how far I have come in this short amount of time. As soon as I figure out some new keywords, I will be a writing fool, and I will be ahead of the game because it is my desire to help others and my family that i am doing this for

For all of you who are struggling to get through a task, or are feeling that you are in over your head, you aren't alone. I am sure that everyone here has been through it. Yes even the experts.

You will probably come to a point when you get stressed and feel like you can't do it. Look at what you have already done. Anything that you have already accomplished, be proud of it. Use that as your motivation to get past the hurdle you are facing.

Try to stay positive. I know it is hard, but you can do it. If you aren't able to get past the feeling overwhelmed, walk away. Take a break and clear your head. Otherwise you may make a decision you will later regret.

No Shame In Asking For Help

Have you read Kyle's post or listened to him? We have it a lot easier than he did when he first started out. He and Carson built this to help others like us. They knew what kind of program they wanted to offer and the community you have here, it was in their plan.

Any issue you have, you can ask the community for help. There is NO REASON not to ask. You will get the assistance you need and will be able to feel less stressed a lot sooner, than spending hours trying to figure it out yourself.

No matter what type of issue you are having, their is either some type of training on it, someone else has had the same issue and they have posted about it, and if you can't find the answer, ASK. You have several places to where you can ask a question. Use them.

The only time you should be hard on yourself, is if you aren't even trying, or don't ask for help. If you aren't trying, then when you ask yourself why you aren't successful, don't blame Wealthy Affiliate.

Remember, you may be working from home alone, but you aren't alone here at Wealthy Affiliate.
