Job Well Done-Thank You

Here is proof that hard work does pay off. Like most of you I had my doubts that I would be able to do this.

Today I am saying to myself (because no one else is here) job well done. Why? you might ask. I recently wrote about low hanging fruit keywords and how the post that contained them are ranking quicker.

Sure, maybe some of it has to do with I know more about writing content than I did in the beginning. But I truly feel it is mostly from the keywords.

What Is It That Was Well Done

When I began my training and chose my URL name, mind you I had no clue what I was doing. I just knew what I wanted it to be.

When I chose the name it literally had >10 for the Avg and traffic. Why would I have chosen it with those type of results?

i wanted this name to call my own. That, and the fact that I totally did not understand keywords, low hanging fruit long tail, none of it.

My website has been battling for the number 1 position with Forbes for months now. Yes, that name that had basically no traffic and no QSR.

For a month now, that same name that I chose, against all odds, has been in the number one position for a month now. Mind you, I hit the first page five months ago. My friend yclayton discovered it.

I am by no means saying that I have won the battle with Forbes, but I am saying that I one this round and I am not going anywhere.

Yes You Can Do It

I know that many of us as well as some of you who have just joined are saying " I can not write" or "how will I write that much" and " I have to write how many words"?

I said all of those and then some. I struggled to get 700 words. When you get past that rough beginning and are able to focus on what you came here to do, it becomes much easier.

I recently created a post about WA that had a 3000 word count, without repeating myself. It was easy because I truly believe in Wealthy Affiliate and I believe in my cause.

You can do it too. All this writing that you do is for the sake of your readers, the help that you want to give them as well as to ensure your success.

Use This Community

This community has been my rock from day one. Even when I would ask a "stupid" or "dumb" question.

Not one time did they look at any of my questions, in that way. They answered them and I had some members like Sdawson who spent hours trying to help me.

The phrase "you are not alone" truly does apply here. These members do their best to help everyone who needs it.

If you don't ask, they can't help you. Need ideas, use "ask a question" located by clicking the help center button to your left.

If it asks if you would like the communities help, click yes (unless you do not need the help from the community).

I recently created training on "help and where to get it", if you aren't familiar with everything yet, you should take a peek at it. It will have very valuable information for you.

My point is this community is amazing when it comes to helping each other out. No matter what it is, someone can help.

Now To The Thank You, Part

A lot of you who bother to read what I write, know I appreciate everyone of you. Those of you who have helped me out from day one and those of you who we have helped each other out, this is for you.

You guys have been amazing. I could not have had my site on the first page to begin with, if it weren't for you.

Thanks to you I have managed to keep it there for 5 months now. I owe it not only to Kyle, Carson and Jay for their training, but also to you.

All the stupid questions I have asked, the awesome answers, the great advice and the encouragement you have given, has been what helped me get there and stay there.

I can't thank you enough, and there are so many of you, that I can't thank you personally, in fear of leaving someone out.

You will know who you are. I know I do and so do all the others that you have helped along their way, and the ones you are helping even today.

Thank you ALL, from the bottom of my heart.
