First Page Rankings Google
I stayed up so that I could write this quick post about first page rankings google. Since I had already written one, I had to wait for the new day in order to write another one.
I am not sure why it made me wait, but it has done that to me before. I see other members write multiple post in a day.
Less Than A Week
I wrote a post on my website 6 days ago and decided to check the rank for it on Google as I had used low hanging fruit keywords.
To my surprise there it is on the first page of Google, Yahoo and Bing. It just made it to the first page of Google, but it has been on the first page of Yahoo and Bing.
This is the first time I have had a post rank on the first page within a week. I am so excited! I could not go to bed without sharing this with you.
Keeping It Low
My website is on the first page of all 3 search engines, duking it out with Forbes for the number one spot for months now.
Many of you know littlemama (Grace), an awesome member here at W A. She gave me some great advice on using low hanging fruit keywords.
When I chose the name of my website it was >10 QSR. Once I learned more about keywords I started choosing them like Kyle had mentioned.
Avg above 50 Traffic at least 100 QSR below 100 and SEO of 100 or close to it. When Grace had mentioned this, I remembered a conversation I had in chat one day.
Another awesome member and I were talking about keywords. I believe it was SteveMand, it was awhile ago, so I might be wrong on that.
He couldn't believe that my site had ranked on the first page of Google with a QSR that low, and that I had beat Forbes out of the number one spot.
Not that he didn't believe me, just he found it to be unusual? I think that the fact I was competing with Forbes was the unusual part. Especially since I was a complete newbie at that time.
Steve of course congratulated me. He is an awesome guy with great knowledge. Hearing that from him meant a lot. Just like the advice Grace gave me.
Rinse And Repeat
When we go through the training, everything may not stick. I have to go through it several times in order to REALLY get it.
If you move to the next lesson, but can't really remember the previous one, then I really suggest you go back through it again.
We are given so much information here. If we forget about even one part of it, it may just cost you a lot in the future.
I remembered Kyle talking about low hanging fruit keywords, but it didn't stick. Not that it cost me, or did it? I honestly don't know if it did, but I know the post with the lower numbers have done the best.
From now on, I am going to rinse and repeat. Find low hanging fruit keywords, write a post, and repeat.
Hopefully it will continue to pay off.

Mary,
I personally would use it.
Type the same keyword into Google. See what type of results you get.
As long as there are results, then that means you will get traffic on that keyword.
I hope this helps my friend.
Anytime you are unsure of anything, you can always ask me or the community in general.
Sometimes it will even give you a bigger selection on ways to try.
You may even discover a way that works better for you than the way you were doing it.
