I have been on word press trying to follow the videos, but the website does look like one and I am not sure most of the time what to do next?
I'm in same spot as Lee. I finish course 1. Doesn't look like Much. "about me' and "privacy" not populated to the site even though everything done otherwise thru the course. Course 2 wants us to get our own domain already. Are lee and Myself Jumping the gun a bit?
well it takes time to build it and as you go thru the courses you will learn more about putting images and banners on your site which will make it look better and what theme are you using
1)learning windows 10. 2) finding my way around the WA website.
3) trying to figure out what the website is supposed to look like from all the bits and pieces I am trying to put together
Windows 10 is still a challenge for me but getting easier. As you move thru the training the website creation will get easier. Here is a site that might give you a leg up. It is free and they do have some useful videos to give you a better idea of what is going on . If I can ever help you can always send me a PM

Did you ever figure out if just moving forward got you what you were hoping to find? I think I am where you were after lesson 1. Dont see My "about Me" or My 'privacy policy" Posted on what is supposed to be my site( never seen what one Looks like during construction). Lesson 2 wants us to get our own domain already. Happy to do it. Just don't want to get stuck starting over if I missed something?

Working on my website and there are only a few choices , is that because its a free website?
yes there are thousands of choices on themes once you become a premium member and a lot more training courses
