Build Your Foundation On Solid Rock Value Not Lies

Value.

Truth.

That is your ingredient list for a solid business foundation.

Yet it is omitted from so many Guru Garbage programs.

Why?

Because they subscribe to the FAKE IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT nonsense...

They PAY for FAKE SUBSCRIBERS...

FAKE REVIEWS

FAKE FOLLOWERS

FAKE TESTIMONIALS...

Yet they are building what appears to be a successful business on a foundation of shifting sand (LIES) and the end result is typically the same - eventually. Implosion. Failure. Even worse in some cases - prosecution, lawsuits, civil claims, and penalties.

Look Behind the Curtain and See the Truth

I see relatively new YouTubers with a couple of hundred thousand subscribers. Looks good. Even seems impressive - at first.

Until you look at the average number of VIEWS per video released.

80, 50, 500, 800, 300 - yet this YouTuber has almost 200,000 subscribers!??!

Can you say BS?

Those subscribers are BOUGHT - and that means the channel owner is a Guru Garbage person peddling Guru Garbage BS all over the internet.

Sad but true.

I know another guy that has a channel that does get legit views and he also has about 200K actual subscribers, maybe a few less but is still growing.

His views are often at 30k plus within hours of releasing a new video.

He makes excellent and very entertaining content - yet he still has an omission that is beginning to cause him problems.

He intentionally leads people to believe he is making all or most of his money in one business (which is his niche) yet he never tells them he makes between $10,000 to $20,000 per month from his YouTube Content!!!

While that is certainly not as bad as outright BUYING FAKE REVIEWS - it still is a major intentional misleading of his viewers... and some are already looking behind the curtain and expressing their displeasure all over the internet.

He can avoid all that and STILL GROW his channel by being HONEST and not intentionally click-baiting and lying to his viewers.

Build Your Business With VALUE and HONESTY and You Will Have Loyal Repeat Customers for Life!

While it may take a little longer and a bit more work when you do it all the right way you get to keep on building it and enjoying it for as long as you wish.

Otherwise, it can - and almost always does - eventually, crumble and fail...

That's my two cents and the way I see it anyway.

What say you?

Do you agree or disagree - and why?

Share your own thoughts and opinions below in the comments!

Those people disgust me. Be honest!

Those kind of statistics are the things I need to investigate on behalf of the merchants on Awin and ShareASale before I will recommend someone. When it comes to lying, fake reviews, fake followers, and traffic volumes, I've seen some real whoppers!

I also watch for social media influencers or bloggers who claim to have a huge audience, but actually only had a huge audience on a single post or two, rather than a consistent large audience. Then they tried to charge for a sponsored post based on their one-time success rather than their normal audience size!

Sad but true - and there are MANY who follow that nonsense method of trying to fake it until they make it.

Case in point one member of a group I am also a member of confided in their posts inside the group they were not yet making any money (which is fine and part of the process) yet at the same time released SM Content saying they were ABLE TO QUIT THEIR JOB because of their SUCCESS with said business - and wanting to use that to sell others on their product.

WTF!!!!

Truth - Making nothing yet - therefore no financial success yet

Lie - Claiming to be doing so well that they were able to quit their job because of their success when there is no success yet!

People would be better off (and so would everyone else!) if they stopped the lies and the Guru garbage and just focused on actually achieving success instead.

Honestly most people shouldn't even try promoting WA until they have been successful with another affiliate site. Until then, it's all either just lies or a book report on other people's successes. Readers can spot a phony in a heartbeat. That's why that person hasn't had any sales yet, despite their claims.

I personally have no problem with anyone promoting anything at any time - including WA and many others, so long as they don't LIE trying to do it.

For example, saying a training program is a great resource, and pointing out all its benefits - and even using testimonials of others (so long as they're true) is all fine - in my book. Yet claiming to have "achieved financial independence" or to be making "$10,000 per month!" and being able to "work for myself full time now because of..." when that is all utter garbage (UNTRUE) is not cool.

In one case I know of a person who IS working FT - but not because of any of their own success - but rather because they have a SPOUSE PAYING THEIR BILLS!!!

That would be NO PROBLEM either - except for the LIE claiming THEY ACHIEVED SUCCESS (meaning financial success) that allowed them to do that. Lies, lies, and more lies. And that my friend is utter BS as far as I am concerned anyway.

Another way to look at is like a brand new real estate agent (which I once was many many moons ago ; )

You do NOT go out and say you have lots of listing and sales when you have had exactly NONE. Instead, you focus on learning your craft, communication, sales fundamentals - real estate knowledge - MARKETING - and getting results through effort and time.

Then as time goes along you DO begin to have success - including many sales and a track record you can use (honestly).

But saying you are the "Top agent" in the area or have "more closed transactions than any other agent..." would be lies and BS.

People should not do that in ANY arena - on or offline.

I agree wholeheartedly. I cannot and will not be a part of a deception. Even to the detriment of myself. What is the point. I still have to look myself in the mirror everyday.

I do like to help people and have done and will continue to do so in the future. It is just who I am. If I attempt to sell them something that I know has no value I am not helping.

ALex

I agree Alex.

Over the years I have sold many things from homes and investment real estate to jobs, to physical products we have made and other things.

Through it all, I have cost myself short-term gains because I have had to tell many people that the specific offer would NOT do what they wanted it to or was NOT in alignment to be right for them.

Many have told me nobody else has ever told them such things - and just told them whatever they needed to hear to "sell" them whatever was being sold.

I have never wanted that - and have always wanted mutually beneficial win-win transactions for all sides - and have worked hard to make them happen. Even when the win was to walk away because of it not being good for all - and that has brought me many referrals and repeat business over lots of years.

It has also brought some people back later when it was a better time and a better fit for us both too.

That's the way I do business - and dislike anyone who tries to rip other people off or tries to blow BS with me either.

💯 LD. Thank you for writing this.

The promise of gold, money and fame from nothing is popular clickbait.

The Internet is a jungle with hordes of predators just waiting to get a "quick kill" and trick people with their "snake oil" products and services.

Honesty, value, integrity and transparency are traits that should be nurtured and should be easily visible on the channels we market our products and services.

The saying "if something seems too good to be true, It usually is" is a good one.

In my opinion, it should be printed out in big bold fonts and pinned in plain view wherever you work.

Roy

My pleasure Roy - and thanks for sharing your words and thoughts.

I agree with you too.

The internet is the digital wild west its full of fake everything .especially socials media people telling you about there so called perfect lives
Gurus everywhere selling get rich quick schemes. I don't think it will ever end we just have to wise up and stop believing in everything we see on a screen

Barry

That's probably true Barry - sadly - but at least when we know that then we can do better ; )

I thoroughly agree.

I wrote reviews of those S*** companies for a while. It's really hard to believe that people can believe all the garbage they feed you. I guess it's just wishful thinking -- after all, everyone would like to find a way to make money hand over fist without doing much. Nope -- doesn't work that way.

If you want to build a brand that people respect and return to over and over again, you'd better build on solid rock. There are no short cuts for hard work.

I agree my friend... I agree.
