Build Multiple Income Production Opportunities Systematically

How to make money.

How to make more money.

How to make money from multiple sources all at the same time.

How to make Passive Income.

These are things most people want - yet few ever actually figure out how to consistently achieve.

Specialized Information, Training, and Skills vs Hoping and Gambling

All things can be learned and all things can be taught to a point. Yet in the end, it is up to the student to learn and then apply the lessons learned.

Otherwise, it is like a powerful new tool - that is never taken out of the box and sits on the shop shelf all day every day. It is useless unless it is used.

Often I encounter people who have a moment of inspiration and a temporary drive to pursue some particular thing or another. For some, it is the latest MLM type "opportunity" and for others, it may be Bitcoin or any number of similar things.

Millions fall for Guru Garbage " SECRETS" to making money online nonsense.

Some people would say to them " Don't waste your time and money on..." and that they should do this or that instead.

True enough, that can be and often is good advice. However, the problem is that there is always someone that will tell you not to try ANYTHING that you can come up with.

No matter what it is - they will have a million reasons why it will not work (yet they have never tried it themselves and have no real business experience at all usually!).

Here is what I'll tell you - most such things are indeed a waste of time and money and doomed to failure no matter what you do - BUT - within the mix of bad options there are a few that can and do work for some people.

Sometimes a few even hit it out of the park and become insanely successful.

In most cases chasing such things is more like gambling and just throwing money, time and effort at the wall and hoping some of it sticks - and that you can beat the odds and win.

That is hoping and gambling vs taking calculated intentional business risks using specialized information and knowledge toward specific objectives systematically.

Yet - if you really just gotta do it - and if failing at it is not going to destroy you, then I say GO AHEAD AND TRY IT!

That way at least you will know first hand for yourself what the real results will be - and even if you fail (almost certain) then you will still have gotten an educational experience in the process. Learning what does not work can be a valuable lesson - so long as you don't just keep repeating the same class over and over again!

Who knows - maybe you will become the next one to build a multimillion-dollar real estate empire from a hand full of credit cards and a guru garbage course that actually works. Or maybe you make those millions in online trading of one type or another - or perhaps clipping and pasting guru garbage adds to sell other people the same course to repeat that process and make tens of thousands a day in your drawers on your couch...

But If It Doesn't Work...

Then there is another way.

A better way.

A real way.

A way that DOES work - if YOU do the work.

That is by intentionally choosing a specific course of action and setting goals and developing plans - then actually showing up and working on your business each and every workday.

No matter what business that is - whether it is an online business including affiliate marketing, specialized information products, and any other business you can find - or an offline business of any and all kinds, the first step is RESEARCH.

You need to get informed and learn the basics of the business!

That should be a fundamental self-evident almost common sense thing - yet it isn't.

Far too many people jump into all kinds of things without looking into them first much if at all. predictably they often struggle and fail as a result -- even in a business that itself can be and should be very profitable.

So take some courses, read some books watch some YouTube videos, listen to some podcasts and then as soon as you know enough to get started - GET STARTED!

Find Instructors, Mentors, Coaches, and Communities to Help You Succeed

This is a key to your success too - and a lesson I learned long ago.

Always be learning.

Never adopt the attitude that you know it all about anything - because I can assure you that you do not and never will...

In my own case I know enough about trucking and real estate to make your head explode - and yet I have never and will never claim to know it all. Both industries are vast and ever-changing and it is a wise idea to keep studying and keep learning for as long as you wish to be in either arena.

The same is true of all other business areas that I am aware of too.

So I take courses, I gather information, and read books constantly on the things I specialize in - always learning.

Even then I have trusted advisers I can call or contact and get clarification and feedback when I need it and I use those resources when I need to. Beyond that, I belong to communities such as WA and I have founded and run other communities of my own where I can both get and give help as needed.

Communities can be powerful resources when you are in the right communities and when you use them wisely - just be careful not to get sucked into countless hours there vs actually taking and applying the lessons you learn ; )

Parlay Sequentially and Systematically to Build Your Own Business Empire

Another common problem is the desire to try and do too many things - especially non-related things - all at the same time.

I know this problem well as I am fascinated by many different business options and opportunities and it can be very easy to get distracted.

As I read some of the profiles here and elsewhere I see this as a widespread and common issue that is almost always a serious problem.

It reminds me of the guy on an old TV show called Green Acres where the guy had a business card for anything you could think of from Dentist to Auto Mechanic to Chef...

It's comical to watch - yet in real life, many of us actually try to do this all the time!

It doesn't work - except in sitcoms.

In real life, it is impossible to be even remotely effective at anything when attention, time, money, effort, and other resources are so divided up. All that results in is confusion, stress, and failure.

A better approach is to build multiple income sources from multiple income production opportunities sequentially and systematically.

That is - get successful at something first - then take the lessons you learn there, some of the money, and the other resources you have - such as contacts, communities, etc, and use it all to parlay to the next level with the next thing.

Even then ideally things can be tied together and used to help sell more products overall.

For example, if you write eBooks you can use your eBooks to help sell your online courses. Then use your online courses to help sell other products.

You can then use your website (or multiple sites) to drive traffic to your Facebook group and then to your mailing list and use it all to sell more and more products.

As you generate more income you can pay for ads, hire virtual assistants - and even hire key employees to coordinate it all if you wish.

The point is to make everything you do part of a bigger vision and a cohesive and intentional plan vs just a bunch of dazed and confused half efforts towards a bunch of unrelated stuff that bleeds away your time, your energy, and your money while providing nothing but frustration and exhaustion for your efforts.

Just a few things for you to think about and decide whether any of it makes sense for you to use or not. Whatever you decide - I wish you all the best in all you do in your work, your business, and your life.

Have a great day and make it count!

Best regards,

L.D. Sewell

Good morning LD,

Thank you for another great post, you make some excellent points.

I know quite a few people that have said to me; "don't do that", in fact, everything you suggest to them, they tell you not to do it! I often think there's a fine line between right and wrong or what works and what doesn't work.

Unfortunately, when I first started out online, I was very enthusiastic and I could see the power of the Internet, the problem was that I didn't know what to do! I fell for those headlines that promise everything! However, in the process, I did learn something even though it cost me a lot of money.

Having the right training is so important, how I wish I knew about the Wealthy Affiliate platform years ago!

I have always liked the idea of writing an e-book, so far it hasn't happened! However, that it is a great way of building a list and sharing genuine experiences.

I also know the desire to do many things, there really are some great opportunities around. The problem is that we can really only focus on one thing at a time, especially if we want to be successful. It's something that I have to check myself on regularly.

I am also like you LD, I spend a terrific amount of time listening to training and wholesome things when I am working my off-line business and driving. It's amazing how much we can learn when we utilise modern technology. Audible, YouTube, Wealthy Affiliate are such great resources to learn from.

Wishing you all the best and a great day.

Roy

Good morning Roy,
Thanks for your response - and I believe your experiences and mine are quite common.

There are always plenty of armchair admirals and Monday morning quarterbacks ready to tell you, me, and everyone else what to do, yet they can't or won't do any of it themselves.

Today we are all blessed to have a ready supply of specialized information on any subject we may desire - and to have it all in multiple formats from multiple sources affordably available.

Have a great day Roy!

Best regards,

L.D. Sewell

Good morning LD,

Thank you for your response, it's appreciated.

"Armchair Admirals"! That's a great way of putting it LD and "Quarterbacks"! Fantastic terminology and so true, it's so important who will listen to.

This is so true, there is so much information available to us if we want to learn. I believe that in the coming years the universities will struggle as we can actually learn more online than that we can at a university, I believe! I have never been to university or had the qualification or wanted to go to university! One thing that I have seen with universities is that they don't teach common sense!

Small rant over!

There really are some great courses out there. In fact, I'm just about to start a new course. I have used Camtasia screen recording software for years, I only know the basics. They have actually created a certification course that I plan to go through step-by-step.

I heard a guru speaking the other day and he said for many of us it's worth spending a few days on learning how to edit video properly. I thought that I would have a go!

Have a great day.

Roy

Sounds great Roy, on learning video editing and using it for your business.

Video is a huge part of online commerce/business and can be used in so many different ways to increase sales for ANY business - on or offline.

As far as University goes (College to me ; ) - you are absolutely right. They do not teach common sense and much of what is taught is WRONG, outdated, and taught by people who have ZERO real-world experience in what they are teaching.

Case in point - I was in a business course and a co-student was made academic assistant during the course. Fine. Then she became the "Associate Professor" and I thought that was a bit odd but, I thought OK.

Before the semester was over she was a "Professor" and scheduled to begin teaching the same business course the next semester!

Keep in mind I know this person and she has ZERO business experience (other than PT jobs as an employee) and no qualifications or expertise in business...

Yet that University/College was then going to be charging new students thousands of dollars to "learn" from her expertise - which she simply didn't have. Keep in mind they were holding her out to be an expert vs an entry-level instructor - so they could charge full-price tuition to unsuspecting students.

That is misleading and wrong - yet upon closer look - very common. There are many professors teaching subjects they know nothing much about and have little to no real-world experience whatsoever.

Would you take flying lessons from someone who has never even flown a plane? How about truck driving lessons to operate an 80,000 lbs tractor-trailer from an instructor who has never driven a truck or delivered a single load?

How about real estate principles from an instructor who has never been an agent, never been a broker, never been an investor - or for that matter who has never even owned a single house?

Of course not... yet that is exactly what many people are getting in University/College every day!

Thanks to technology making online courses both easily available worldwide - and very affordable (especially compared to overpriced university/college courses) anyone can learn anything they need or want to learn when and how they want the information - and from people who actually do what they teach.

Have a great day Roy, and I look forward to hearing about your video progress!

Best regards,

L.D.Sewell

Good morning LD,

Thank you for your reply, it's appreciated.

I'm looking forward to starting the course, I know video editing won't be my natural gift, however, as we know, it's amazing what we can learn through online courses!

I like your example of the professor with no experience! I believe that there are many many similar cases across the world. Although I have never been to university or had the qualifications to do so, this is one of my large gripes!

I see far too many people who are teaching something that they have literally no practical experience of. It's a bit like the British MPs who are ministers of various subjects and yet have no real-life experience of the particular subject!

To me the old fashioned training programs like apprenticeships were the best in my eyes, you learnt from an experienced man who knew his trade. We can say the same with Wealthy Affiliate, Kyle and Carson have worked hard practically to build their business. My Webmaster has done exactly the same, real-life and genuine experiences!

I am with you 100% LD in what you are referring to.

Have a great day.

Roy

There is an episode of I Love Lucy that has the man of many hats in it. Their car breaks down in the middle of the night, or something like that, and they find themselves at the only hotel in town. The guy behind the counter runs the hotel, is the court judge, sheriff, post office master, He had a hat for everything.

I do live entertainment, fix and flip cars, rebuild or build houses, now getting into studio recording. Covid 19 forced me to rethink things, and because I do wear different hats, was able to still hustle out there and get gigs, fixing apartments, buy a truck, fix it a sell it for a profit, something to help me pay bills.

I have always just winged it all my life and now the line is drawn in the sand, I want to be on the side of time freedom.

Great post for you are helping those see the moves needed to get time freedom, to be able to make the money to pay for someone to do all those little daily chores that suck up so much of our productive time.

Look forward to reading your other post as well as upcoming future post.

Scott

Thanks Scott, and you are not alone! I think that most of us have a tendency to do that at least to some extent or another.

Realizing it gives us the option to begin to change and to be more focused on our efforts so we can achieve more success in the things we care most about doing.

Have a great day, and make it count!

Yeah in this new era of Internet race of online businesses people took some opportunities to use people in order to gain profit by means of Leveraging or MLM. In other term Networking I been already that monkey businesses I even thrown money just to earned some profit. But those things that they had promised were not gonna happened in my life when I did those businesses that they had offered to me. Lucky to those who are the pionering in their company because of the pyramiding system.
When I saw this WA in my researched I said to myself that what if made a try just only a starter account. But then I on my way of the starter membership for 7 days I always review their status if they are very Legit company so far so good as I fully convinced that WA is real and legit I avail their first month premium bonus account of 19usd plus my own domain name of 13usd so only spent 22usd all in all.
Much better here in WA although the income here is still at large still i am looking forward but I was really sure that I will earn here sooner or later.
Thank you for reading my comment LDSEWELL hope your well all the time.
Have a nice day.

Regards,

Isabelo

Isabelo, thanks for your response and I do appreciate it!

WA is real - it is legit - and it can work for everyone who actually does the work to make it work. Yet there is no free ride - success must be earned, and is never just given.

Have a great day my friend, and make it count!

Best regards,

L.D. Sewell

Thank you so much for the appreciation of my comment.

Excellent blog, well said. I like your down to earth attitude. The harder we work the luckier we get. Most people these days don’t have the stick ability. I opened 2 schools in Vietnam as a foreigner. Not easy, it took me 5 years and like any business, on line may be faster but I am not counting on it. If it happens quickly it is a bonus. Otherwise head down and keep working.
Thanks, you got me going. Stephen

Thanks Stephen!

Very well stated - decide, learn, plan, grow.
