Hi LDKelley. My original post is gone as well, what I think is that I signed up for free, wrote my post, then upgraded to premium. I think changing to premium may have something to do with it.
Please help. Anyone!
I found it all very confusing. But by opening a separate window and step by step copying what the training was teaching I was able to get a website up. I did not have my niche down but just created the general and figured I would fine tune things as I went. Do not get to caught up in the details right now. Just get started you can always change things as you become more comfortable.
I'd really recommend using the training here on WA. Green button up and to your left-- it says "Get Started Here." Also in that little list of tabs is "Build My Website," which is where you will go to make your site. There are a number of places to purchase a domain name- 1&1, NameCheap, and GoDaddy, for instance. Use the keyword tool here to research a phrase or combination of words in your chosen niche, and see if you can get a domain name that uses a good keyword. All these steps are given in detail in Kyle's training at that "Get Started Here" tab. Also, use the live chat for more specific questions. There is usually somebody around to help!
My suggestion is get a niche relate to an argument you know, and like talking about. If you have to produce quality content that is the only way.
My second advice is learn to be patient. Rome was not built in a day.
Lastly, try to have fun. Readers feel the enthusiasm behind the words.

Pity you already spent the money on the hosting because you being a PREMIUM member of WA get free hosting here at WA so you do not need to pay for hosting.
With regards to the domain name selection, you first need to define your niche and based on the niche find a domain name that is the closest match.
To select a name, use the KEYWORD TOOL and insert the niche keyword to provide you with some variations.
Once you have a name in mind, go to one of the domain name vendors (registrars) such Godaddy or any other that is convenient to you and purchase the name available that will serve your purpose.
Take your time and play close attention to the name you eventually choose before submitting payment as once purchased there are no refunds!
