Great you found the answer

About to use my laptop.

I suppose it must be done by PC or laptop. Can't embed using my smartphone because it only gives me the option to share the link and not embed.

Ok. I did it... Now when visitors click the link, it opens directly on the video. Thanks a bunch everyone! You guys are AWESOME!!! :)

I'm happy you have this done now.

I know how you feel!

This video should help Try the search box at the top of the page where it says "Need help Linda? Ask your question here". Just type in a keyword or phrase and you'll find lots of training, blogs, and questions on the subject.

Awesome, Marion! Thanks a bunch!!! :D Don't know why I didn't do that to begin with? Lol

marionblack is good for this sort of thing, she has a video for the way to do it now and how to do it when the gutenberg update rolls in https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/marionblack/training

Awesome, Thanks a million! :)

Hi Linda,

I used this one way back and it was quick and easy!

that guy is awesome lol :)

Awesome sauce!!! :D

Thank you Patsy !:)

Haha Eric, hi stranger.

Honestly it's my favorite tutorial of all time. I thought it was going to be so difficult and YOU made it simple.

I always share it when the topic comes up.

Hope you are well :D

You are welcome, it's the best one out there I always share it.

Eric has other great, easy to follow tutorials also and interesting WA posts as well :)

Yes, Patsy. :D

I am seeing that, @MarionBlack AND @ericcantu have some amazingly easy to follow instructional video that can help me with a LOT OF OTHER related technical issues I'm having.

So they're going to be my "Go to" whenever I'm having an issues like this. At least until I become proficient with WA and WordPress Coding.

You can always use the 'Ask your questions here' bar above for finding answers. I always check there first.

Yes that's true Patsy. :)

That's what @MarionBlack advised.

I said the same thing that you suggest. "I don't know why I didn't do that to begin with?"

Lol. :)

We've all been there, and when I started doing it I was surprised at all the information that came up!

Copy the code from the YouTube video and paste it in your text format.
Best,
Marcus

Thanks a bunch Marcus! :)

Here are some instructions you might find useful

Thank you Joy. :)

Hi Linda. I am not there yet, but I learned a lot from Barb’s answer below.

All the best
Mojalefa.

That's Great Mojalefa, all the best to you my dear!

Hi Linda,
I am a bit behind than you but I have been asking myself how can be more effective than just promoting a product at a time.
I liked Barb recommendation and I would contact her to clarify your further questions.
I hope you find your Linda talking to Barb.
Marcus

Thanks Marcus, Yes. I agree and I have! :)

Hi Linda,
Thanks for your review. Success and I will do the same as you when my time comes.
Marcus

Awesome Marcus, wishing you all the best when you're turn is up! :)

Hi Linda!

I highly recommend a link from Clickbank Marketplace which is FREE to join!

It has Digital Products by World Renowned Counsellors and I would definitely Promote their Membership Websites because you will end up getting RECURRING MONTHLY COMMISSIONS - not just a one-time payment like at Amazon!

Think RECURRENT PASSIVE INCOME in whatever you promote - it earns you more money over time!

Please PM me if you have any further questions...you know that I love to help!

Barb

PS With your Broadcasting skill set you also would greatly benefit from creating 3 to 5 minute Podcasts or Lives Streams on YouTube or Facebook.....Jay of magi studios is reviewing Live Streaming on YouTube this Friday at 5:00 pm PACIFIC time - I highly recommend that you attend! I'll see you there!

Barb = Easy-Moneys (my website and WA name) = Rich Girl (my YouTube Channel Name)

Hey Barb, Is this what I signed up for that you referred me too last month?

I neglected to investigate... (Don't know what I was thinking... :/ ...).

I'm about to register for Jay's upcoming event.

Hi Linda!

No, the information that I sent you was a means to promote Wealthy Affiliate to ear WA Referral Joiners under you so that you earn money to cover your WA Membership costs and then some!

Barb

Hi Linda,

I highly recommend doing all the training and peruse Jay's weekly videos that are archived...click on Live Events on the Left side Dashboard.

Barb

Ohhhh, okay, I see Barb. It seems, I need to take time to Review your emails. Going to need to find at least 30 minutes to an hour to get this done. Thanks so much for your help!

Try linking with someone in the industry that has an affiliate program.
Jerry

Do you mean check out their website for suggestions?

That and to see if they have an affiliate program. Some of them do. You might also check with some of the larger hospitals and clinics.

I check my email pretty often, that's how I become aware of the updates of members that follow.

So that I can support their blog effort, thoughts, ideas, and progress her

I check my email once a day, but at times there are just too many to get thru so some may be left til the next day. Up to 2 days, actually, but I always try to respond.

Hey there, Goran,

I see... Same here. I have deleted emails in my various email accounts with over 20k emails and never considered checking any of them, not a peep. I think that WA emails are pretty important. About to see if I can filter my email.Thank you for sharing how you handle your email.

Have a good day,

Linda

I check my emails about 3 times a day. If I replied to them all I would not get anything else done. It is difficult to know which ones to respond to. Don't ask me how I choose
Francyn.

Lol. I hear ya! :) screening is an issue, and that's an excellent question! How di you choose which emails to respond to? That's a valid question right there. I'll have to look into that. Thanks for your comment. Shed a little more light on the question! Look at it in a different perspective. Thanks again Francyn! :)

Have an excellent evening

Linda

I generally try to read mine between 2 and 3 times a day. However if I am running tight on time I will try to answer questions first. Simply I would hate for someone that I could have helped to be stuck unnecessarily. But as you progress with more followers you do end up with a ton of emails. I always try to do the best I can.

Thank you, Yes, I agree, that is so true that the more followers you have the more emails you get and that can become annoying at times. Lol,
Not too long ago I left a comment on a members 'well wish greeting' to me that was 2 months old. Lol.
I can imagine how much time it would take for anyone to answer everybody at any particular point and just randomly select members questions to answer. You're right, in that we all try to do our best. :)

Have a blessed Easter,

Linda

Now that brings up another one that I forgot I always also get to the people who have posted to something of mine. It simply is the blogs I try to as many as I can fit in if not I tuck them in a folder and when I get caught up again I start going through those.

Lol. I know the feeling Melissa.

We get jam-packed... There is a way to filter email do that we see what is important to us, and yes.
I usually if that too. I do try to answer everyone if they replied to anything I posted.
Less effort is made to explore new blog entries from the members here. Or rather, not Everyone checks their email.

Have a wonderful evening,

Cheers

Linda :)

You as well.

I'm sorry you're not getting responses. The emails can be overwhelming on any given day, but isn't that what we're here for? To be a community, help each other, share our experience? I'm too new to answer too many questions but I try every day to make comments on posts, comments on sites, and follow newbies. It's hard, but it CAN be done. At the very least I try to read the emails that come from other members (i.e.: not training) and will pick up the rest of them when I get more time.

Just keep up what you're doing and hopefully it will come.

Thank you OLAffilite, I would hope that everyone has an Amazing experience, to be honest, I also care that I have an amazing experience. I am strictly observing because this is an aspect of my niche. "How well do people show love to others?' Doing my own research here, since I cannot find any topics covering that'

Thanks for your suggestion, Have an awesome Easter'

Linda

I watch emails often though the day, more than one hundred per day, with responses to responses and I think it is having an impact on my website and personal progress.

I answer everything in a courteous manner. Sometimes there are emails I simply do not have the answers to.

Some emails are requests that can often be resolved from the WA search bar.

Occasionally I will go searching to resolve other people’s issues because it is in my nature to help others!

I have assisted others and spent may be one hour plus collating data and I didn’t get a thank you response - that hurts a little!

I would just say we are all individuals trying to make things happen.

I do not rely on people to make me happy, if people assist me any capacity WA or outside the platform, I show my appreciation!

Generally on the platform, there really are people that offer so much support and their own time.

There will always be times when we do not get exactly what we want but things still work out.

For me I just keep edging forward! Tiny steps!

Nice post!

Wayne

Hi Wayne,
I'm glad that you said this, I agree 100%, I understand about the that it does hurt a little to be ignored...
That's the problem... For example, Off subject, Someone asked me to talk to someone else about an issue they were having, I told the person that I will, just as soon as I have the time, like 30 minutes... ( busy me)...
I didn't call the person... The next morning, I got a text message, asking me if I talked to that person that night.
In which my response was No... The next text was telling me " You could have stopped her from killing herself"... In other words, If I would have responded to the question or showed an interest in her life, I could have saved her...(true story) etc. etc.
Imagine how I felt after hearing that? It was at that point that I decided to rejoin WA. with the attitude of Helping... which is why my niche and website is based on LOVE, Loss, and Acceptance.
My point is, that if we are here for ourselves, then It doesn't make sense to comment on others websites or blog posts. If we are here for each other then it would... Even Still, I wish all the best for everyone. you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. I even reasoned with my self, saying that If she wanted to hurt her self, I would not have been able to stop it. When That can be further pushed... How would I know? I didn't even try...

Linda

Linda

I am so bunged up with flu right, struggling to string a sentence together on this darn iPhone. Just a fe words back.

You cannot be accountable for anyone’s life, you experienced a very bad set of circumstances - so shocking - i’ve Been there, so I feel where you are coming from.

I love what Byron Katie says about there being three kinds of business:

My Business
Your Business and
Gods Business

You can’t always be in other people’s business and you focus is to stay connected to you! Stay in your business.

When you are connected to you, you will be strong for all those around you. Others will want to be you!

Sad story and thank you for sharing.

I think we are here for ourselves and also for others at WA. To be realistic, if we rely on others to much we set ourselves up for disappointment.

I try and look at the good intent of others and decide my direction or decision, I call it my own due diligence! The truth people like to help.

I am a sick old dog today, back to bed for a few hours! I hope, I’ve made some sense in trying to relay what I’m thinking?

Look out for the April fools, Loes and Kyle have sent a couple of good new out!

Have a beautiful Day Linda!

Wayne

Awww, I'm sorry to hear about your flu bug, I am only recently recovering after three weeks of flu, so I know exactly what you're talking about. get well soon. I agree with every word you say... Is it 'not' in my best interest to be interested in everyone else's interests? LOl... That's hilarious! Hahaha! :) who'da Thunk?
that's what I'm hearing...

Please Do get Well, Drink Lots of Fluids and get plenty of rest!

Linda

Just be selfish in the nicest possible way! Did you not read a post I wrote, something about being selfish.

Whilst you’re interested in the problems of others, how can you be 100% focused on your own growth and success? Love them all!!

You can listen to others but don’t absorb their pain. When you make it to the successful place you want to be, whatever that is, you will be raising the standards and quality of lives for others because they will aspire to you.

Believe you are great and continue with your plans and hardwork and see where you are in 12 months from now!

I hope I am offering words of a positive nature and not patronising you I hope!

Make your year wonderful and do it your way, without getting bogged down with the work ethics and practices of others that do not correspond with your expectations, it’s really not worth it! Only leads to disappointment!

You are your own person and a business woman! Nike already told us what to do:

JUST DO IT!

Have a peaceful Easter Sunday!

Wayne

Don’t take anyone else’s words as gospel, they are just another persons views based on their beliefs. Choose your own words and your own path!

Thank you for the awesome advice and taking the time out to assure me that my views are perhaps over sighted. lol, I'm just a thinker. That's no excuse.
No, I haven't watched your video, I'll have to check that out. I consider what everyone says because I value their opinions. I couldn't at all think I was being patronized,
I am always open to debate, lol, all for fun. Although it may disrupt someone's atmosphere, it wouldn't be intentional. I'm not one to play games or waste time.
It would strictly be for behaviour research which is part of my niche. Afterall, love has its many streets and avenues. The question for me is " How well do people show love to others? which is what I'm trying to find out. Conducting my own research. since I can't Google Search That Topic... (Hope that's Legal)
I'm learning a lot right here. Making my way instead of waiting for answers. that's how I have gotten this far in my career endeavors, online and offline. I really appreciate your advice and suggestions' you have been quite helpful! :)

Have a Wonderful Easter!

Linda :)

My blog today was going to be all about LDawkins1 on an Easter Sunday, I’ve got nothing left to write about now I’m blogless! Lol

Did I say video, I didn’t mean to, it was only a blog, videos - I’m not that flash yet!

Enjoy Linda!

Wayne

Hahaha!!! :)

That's funny Wayne. :) My bad... Didn't mean to take up your time like that. ;)
But you Have been EXTREMELY helpful, thorough and very, very pleasant an Excellent example of showing love to others here in the WA platform.

It’s Sunday morning here in Malaysia, I have just got out of bed and bought a Lottery ticket, eating pork and rice and then I am going to try a couple of hours in the office.

You so ruined my rest! Lol

Enjoy Linda!

Wayne

I try to check my emails at least twice per day. You can spend an inordinate amount of time on emails if they are not managed properly.

My two cents.

that's true, time-management...thats something else that I think I have done pretty well with. I suppose that's why I can respond the way that I do to people that talk to me. Lol.

it's like... I Know I Am A Very Busy Woman... but I find the time. I guess everybody is different. :) This is where patience comes in. lol.
Love your two Cents HaHaHa! :)
This question is here though, I think it's a reasonable one and relevant to the success of others and myself.
I may get some really negative responses, on the other hand, there may be some really encouraging answers.
The eventual outcome should be to encourage members to be aware of whats inside their email. that's just good business etiquette... I guess???

I try to keep a good watch on the email too. Sometimes too busy to get to things and try to catch later. Life speeds on and sometimes I cannot answer or look at all. Sometimes I have nothing of value to contribute.
I think it comes down to doing the best we can and remembering that we do this for us and not otherd.
Keep up with what you feel is important and continue to continue on.
Sanders

Thanks a lot, Sanders,
I agree. But don't you think it defeats the purpose of moving up the ranks? I mean, It doesn't really matter... Does it? Whether we contribute... This platform was built on kindness towards others, I think??? Isn't acknowledging the accomplishments and platform-wide support that "The Top Dogs" receive in comparison to the newcomers who really could use the support? Of course, we are all here for ourselves, but that shouldn't be our sole purpose. How are we supposed to continue working here without support or advice?
I continue, to wish all the best for you and everyone here. I really appreciate your response.

Have a Wonderful Weekend,

Linda

I agree with all you say. You raise a lot of good questions that I can only answer with general comments because Irhave not really thought it through. I get the top dog reference but I am here for me. I am here to learn and grow and to meet my goals. It also includes me helping others to the best I can because being a friend and supportng others is one of my core values. Ranking may be important for some but is not a determining factor in my actions.
Kinda hard to explain but all my life I have tried to put others ahead of myself. I believe in friends and supporting them.
Wow, how did you get me on a soapbox?
Thanks Linda for causing me to think and to reflect.
Sanders

Awesome, I'm glad that you get the point that I was making.
That's what I do Sanders. Get people to think... Anything is possible, Outside the box... Lol :) and when we are in the service of others, we are in the service of ourselves.

I even reasoned with my self, saying that If she wanted to hurt her self, I would not have been able to stop it. When That can be further pushed... How would I know? I didn't even try...

Reference: Course 3, Lesson 8... "Amazon Product Review".

Do I have to purchase a product in my niche and write a review for it? Or is there a way to cut that corner???

If you're doing a lot of reviewing, you can't be expected to buy every last product. Sometimes you need to rely on customer reviews. Be upfront about it tho. No reason to lie.

Thank you Goran. :)

What niche are you in? For me, I plan on buying books on my subject to review, especially ebooks since they are cheap.

Sounds like a plan. My niche is Love, Loss & Acceptance... So I would be searching for products to help one focus, relax, think, or meditation.

No but it couldn't hurt the proof and credibility!

That's what I was thinking. I want to be honest and straightforward. I would hate to write a review for a product I don't own. I would be like, "I don't one this, but wish I did..." Blah blah blah... :/ And not getting anywhere or making progress.

Just don't know how I would go about writing a review... Can't purchase anything to review yet. Don't have a budget for purchasing products... Yet... Perhaps that's something I need to consider too?

Thank you for your speedy reply!

Linda

Yes, Just write whatever comes to mind!

Wayne

Yes. And as you go if you choose to read others you will find a lot of useful and helpful information. Works the same with you as newer people join they read about your success and what you have learned. But blogs are not always about Wealthy Affiliate you can talk about some things going on with you or news you in the world you heard about.

I find it is a good way to get your content wheels rolling.. the more writing you do the easier it gets. This is a safe place to publish and get good feedback for the "real" online content you are publishing. Good luck!!

Yes, that's right. It means to write a blog (from the 'Write new blog' tab at the top right) and post it within the WA community/

Thanks for the speedy reply Sammy-B
