Question about Affiliate Companies
Please let me know what you think... I am a super completely honest person (sometimes that gets me into trouble ) but I want to know if it is ok to ask the affiliate companies for a sample of what I am reviewing? I want to be totally honest about my reviews. Am I allowed to do this? Does it seem rude? I don't want to do anything that will keep me from making money..

I think it would all depend on the cost of the item. For example, you can't really expect someone to have you review a $3000 camera and then let you keep it as a gift for your services. Otherwise, I think it would not be too bold to ask for a sample for some items. I don't think it would be rude or jeopardize your standing as an affiliate with the company being reviewed.
Sure you can. One of our members has done it and posted on it recently. He asked and received free products to review.
I have not heard of anyone doing this previously. Please let us know what the companies say if you decide to ask for samples

In Singapore, there are influencers who get products and services for free. They review them on their websites that thousands, some hundreds of thousands followers read.
The followers know they get these things free. And most are ok with the review as long as it is quite honest.
Some time back, there was controversy. It was discovered that some of the reviews were paid. This did not go well for the influencers who were paid to do good reviews for a brand.
They were criticised for lack of authenticity. Followers left.
Just sharing this case study. Hope it helps.
In summary, I would say ok to ask for free. Do honest review. If the brand only agrees to give free on condition that you must give a good review, then I advise to reconsider.
