How to Make 1000 Dollars a Month Online
Have you noticed the buzz at Wealthy Affiliate since New Year?
It all started with Bo Tipton's BIG UNEXPECTED ANNOUNCEMENT
Bo announced that he'll be retiring from Internet Marketing when he turns 70 on 1st of August 2021.
But first he wants to mentor at least 5 Wealthy Affiliate Members to grow their business to $1000+ a month.
I've been loving the blogs that have been coming out of Bo's mentoring and I've learn't a lot.
Here's the one teaching that's stood out the most for me for me so far, so much so that I wrote it out on a piece of paper to paste up next to my desk and refer to as I go about my work...
It's Bo's 4-Step Process to Content Success
- State the Problem
- Give the Solution
- Give all the Benefits
- Tell them what to do next (Add a Call To Action)
And here's what made this point really hit home for me.
I recently changed the format of all my feature images on my posts and so, when I get a moment, I go back to a few old posts to update their images. Yesterday I was doing this and came across a post that I wrote in the really early days of my website.
This post has ranked page 1, no. 1 on Google for the Keyword: Housewife Blues, consistently for aaaaages.
And now I know why.
Unwittingly, or perhaps it was deliberate, because I was following Kyle's training at the time...
I followed this exact process.
My call to action was a bit weak, it was just a call for comments at the end of the post.
But I thought this was really interesting.
Have a look at the posts you've written that are ranking no. 1 on Google and see whether perhaps they too are following this formula.
Now imagine if we followed this simple formula for all our affiliate reviews and for every post we write that links to an affiliate program...
Could this one process be the answer to $1000 a month? What do you think?

PS. I am by no means that is all BoTipton is teaching, I can see his mentorship goes much deeper and way beyond just this one teaching. This is just what has stood out for me for now after reading his team of Go-Getters' (or shall we call them Bo-Getter's) blogs.

Pleasure, Phakacha. I created images in Canva for my CTA's in my WA and Jaaxy Reviews. Not sure if I am 100% happy with them yet. Will start taking more notice of CTA's on other sites from now on to get ideas. Loes probably knows a great program for this, so will check with her too.
Great points to remember, and I have also been going over old posts as they are ranking well, but the content needs more work.

Great post. I have been focusing on the call to action lately, and I think it is something that a lot of people overlook.

Yes, I agree on your CTA point - my calls to action have been a bit weak and so it's definitely something I can improve on this year.

Something that we need to do on all out posts. Manytimes, speaking for myself, I did all of the above with the exception of telling them what to do next. The call to action as per say.
This is something that we were told to do when we started to blog, but then went on ahead and let it slip by, and before you know, we are over 100 or even 200 posts down the road without implementing your list.
What you suggest we do? Go back and adjust all our posts? That is something that personally would not want to hear. But if that what it takes to move my incomealong by getting better conversions, I guess this is what has to be done.
I commend you for taking the time to enlighten us on this simple approach when writing out articles and posting to our blog, a lesson learned. Thank you!
Yeah, I know, Bishop... that's a lot of posts to update. But I would think it's worth having a look at any post that you wrote specifically to earn affiliate income and making sure they provide a solution to a problem. Alternatively, we can just start writing all future posts with this in mind.

Great post Lauren. I am glad to see people receiving benefit even if it is just by proxy. I love that you went back and found an old post that has stayed #1 and it already followed those guidelines. Amazing the little things we find that we didn't know we already did know.
