Ooh... exciting news! Remember my little post on Afformations ?
Well, I created a quick post on my site as well. Look where my post is ranking!!
Position 3 on Google.
And I haven't even called for comments yet. I only just remembered to Fetch as Google this morning.
In comparison, look where my Wealthy Affiliate post is ranking.
What? My site is outranking Wealthy Affiliate?

Was it my Keyword Choice?
Did I use a Keyword with less competition for my post on my website?
NO - I actually chose a keyword with MORE competition.
- Both Keywords had average monthly searches of 40.
- Great Little Book Afformations has a QSR of 19
- Afformations vs Affirmations has a QSR of 41
What made the difference?
I'm not entirely sure but I think it's this...
I embedded a You Tube video into my post on my website.
Let me be more specific about the steps I took:
- Made a quick power point presentation of the information
- Created a video in Screen Cast-o-Matic.
- Gave the video the same name as my Keyword: Afformations vs Affirmations.
- Uploaded the video onto my You Tube Channel.
- Embedded You Tube's code into my post
The video has only had 8 views so far... disappointing... but still, it's working for me.
Definitely encouragement to make more videos. Lynne Huysamen has been saying this for aaaages. I've been a bit slow on the uptake, but hey, I got there in the end. :)

Hi Taetske, I'm sure you don't look like a witch in your videos but the great thing about Screen Cast -O-Matic is you don't have to be in the videos. You can create a presentation and just capture your screen. So it's really just voice over.
Well I am very impressed. I have just reached the video lesson in bootcamp and admit to putting it off but maybe I should bite the bullet and give it a go.

I hear you Karen. I also had to break through a terror barrier to do it. I started by reading my favourite children's story...Oh the Places You'll Go, by Dr. Seuss. That was easy enough to do and got me warmed up and fired up. (It's highly motivational - even if it's meant for kids). :)

Not sure why, but I have a post on page 2 in Bing, but when I use the Site Rank tool in Jaaxy, it doesn't show my keyword ranking at all. Do you have any ideas why?
Hi Steven, How are you checking your Bing ranking? Are you going incognito first? If Bing is your usual search engine results will be different for you unless you are in private searching mode. Does bing have the equivalent of google incognito tab?
Well, that is interesting. I did a search from Bing using Google Chrome (incognito) and I also did a search using Microsoft Edge using In Private mode. The results were the same, my post is on page 2 no matter how I look at it.
I have seen this before with Site Rank, I never know if I am getting accurate results.
