I'm following Jay on finding a niche and just started creating a website. I've watched his video and trying too do step by step, but when he created his, he was able to check

I realize that you are just starting and, things or going very fast. Now, I attend all of Jays trainings, and you truly learn something each time. But, I would suggest to you to finish your certification training, because Kyle takes you step by step on this. Also, the community is a great source for help, with any question you may have.
Also, I have gained a lot of new learning from Marion Black and Leo has great tutorial's as well.

Thank you for your advise.

You can create your own categories when you're writing a new post (or editing). You should see Categories on the right-hand side and that's where you can add a new category.

Thank you. I will check it out. I wasn't looking in that area. Thanks again.

Hey Laura!

The categories are in the 'Posts' section. Highlight it and you will see categories. Then click that and you can add categories.

The slug should not have spaces in it btw :)

Hope this helps!
Marlinda

Thank you!

Is it the videos in the last case study he did? If you can tell me which video and where on that video I can check it out and try to help you with it.

I really like Jay's stuff.

Thanks so much. I've watched all, but it's in the first class. Right after he tapped on the domain name a screen comes up with a small list. When I clicked on my domain name it just went to create a website, which I picked but I just want to make sure all my basis are covered.
