Write, Write and Write
Hello WA world. Here at WA some of us are writers, but most of us are not. We come here to start a business and learn all of the ins and outs of online affiliate marketing. But in the mix of learning, we discover writing is a big part of making it all happen.
Writing is an Art. Everyone can develop an art and expand on it. When I began to write a few years back, I could produce a whopping 200 words at a time. I realized that it was not enough. So I researched online "how to write." I came away with one piece of information that has never left me and has changed my life.That gold nugget was if you want or need to write then write. The person said to write and write and write and as you do you will improve. That is exactly what I did; I wrote every day. Now I can quickly produce 1000 words and at times have a hard time stopping.
Today I say to you that writing is a work of art that anyone can develop. Just keep writing and revising and writing some more. Close your eyes, put your fingers to the keys and go. Put down anything that comes to mind, and when you have finished, you will be quite pleased with your progress.

Doris, you are so welcome.
Suggestion; put down all of the words, then organize it and then pull out what may be another post. Anything that takes your readers down a different path may be a new post.

Great post Laura, and soo true. The more you write the better you get and for me that is a fact.
Coming into WA I didn't have an idea that to be successful you need to write. Kyle mentioned that numerous times.
I for one don't like to write, I draw to communicate. lols!!!
I got to say Laura my writing, which was not much, improved many times over. Yes never quite satisfied but sure better than I started here.

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for this great post Laura! I'm struggling to write every single post since I'm not great at words.
Oh but my friend you can do it. Close your eyes. Just put the words down and when you are finished go back and put it in order. Write like you are talking to your best friend sitting in front of you.
And write until there is no stone left uncovered. This means to make sure you explain every detail. When you talk to someone they can ask questions. You want to make sure when you write you answer every question they may ask.
This alone will produce 1000's of words.
Does this make sense? I sure hope so.

I just finished watching the walk through video on the lesson "creating a Keyword Rich Content " and in as much as I am happy with my progress here on WA, I was reluctant about writing my first Content on my website and another on my blog too which is as a result of my low confidence in my writing skills and deep down I was scared even though I knew I had to write more frequently if I must excel online.
Well I was going to head over to google and make a search on how to become a good writer then spend lots of time reading and maybe making an excuse to procrastinate but here I am writing a comment on your post because i think it was the answer i seek and I appreciate you sharing that Golden nugget with me.

I love the analogy of writing being like an art that is never quiet finished. I am still working on trying to find my "voice."
Like art, a person's writing can draw us to it's author.

Yes I fully agree but I suspect this is one of the reasons many do not convert to premium - what do you think please?
I agree with you. I talk to so many people who say "I can't write" and usually they don't understand that they can write. They may not ever write a book but 1000 words are so different than a book.

So far, I am not an expert but I wrie to suit the topic on hand.
It is difficult for me doing many word because I am a bittom line thinker.
Usually, I just say something and that it.
Now, I am sort of practiving to tailir my thoughts by using an outline.
Then, I write. As the say goes, "consistent practice makes perfect",
I am very far from perfect and I enjoy the challenge of becoming a much better writer.
And so, I will continue to write, write and write.

Maxine, You are so welcome. My pleasure. Writing is a work in progress. I too was a bottom line thinker. Coming from a nursing background, I would leave words out of sentences and think others would pick up on it.
I look back at some of my earlier writing and am appalled at the lack of understanding I provided. But with this process, of writing, writing, and writing, I have improved tremendously.
