There are couple of questions/comments that I frequently see by new WA members -can someone help me select a niche and I have a niche idea but I don't know what to do with it. The most frequent answer they receive, which is the most appropriate answer, is start the training.

First of all, no one can select your niche for you. Part of the learning process here at WA is learning how to come up with niche ideas. It is actually covered in the early stages of the training.

When I started with WA I had a niche idea, but no idea what to do with it. I couldn't decide how broad or narrow to make it, I was clueless. So, I started the training, I got a few lessons in and still had no idea what to do with my niche idea. I wanted to get started on something so I decided to put my original niche on the back burner for now and I started the bootcamp. I knew this was something I could sink my teeth into right now and I'm glad I did.

I'm still going through the lessons but as a result of covering the bootcamp lessons thus far, I now know exactly what I'm going to do with my original niche. I know how I want that website structured, what subjects I'm going to cover and what affiliate programs I want to use, etc.

Now, this doesn't mean you have to select the bootcamp over your niche. If you don't have a niche idea, the bootcamp is a good alternative. If you do have a niche idea but don't know what to do with it, I suggest you start the certification courses at https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/online-entrepreneur-certification-getting-started-level-1, start creating your website, even if it feels like you don't know what you're doing because what's going to happen is that you will reach a point in your training that you will know what to do with it.

Think of your first website as your training module because that's exactly what it is. It doesn't matter what mistakes you make because you can go back and make whatever changes you want to make. That's the beauty of this, nothing is carved in stone. When you get a couple two or three months into your training, you may look at your website and wonder, what was I thinking... and you may decide to completely change the structure of your website. That's how much you can learn in a very short period of time.

The point is, don't think that you have to have it all figured out before you start. Don't think that it has to be perfect the first time around. As you learn you will constantly make changes and improvements to your website, so Just Get Started.
