Dry goats

I went today looking for medications for goats. I do that sometimes, I have an interesting question and I like to take the time to figure it out, so I spend an entire day going around town asking people what it is they think on a subject and from the most popular answer, determine that, through trial and error, and con-census, (what-ever-it-is-that-was-on-my-mind-at-the-time) is the right answer.

Why do I do this?

Because typically, after the third person or the third question, I find I am nowhere near the right answer and if I have to do things on my own, at least I can learn something and be able to pass on the right answer in the future. Instead of being like all those I speak to, giving an answer to a question without definitively knowing the right answer. I honestly try to live my life in a straight forward manner and I don't like confusion or being confused because someone could not be honest and just say, "I don't know, the answer."

So what was my question?

What do you do for a goat when they have mastitis? Now when you go online or ask a friend, they immediately show you the worse case scenario and really nasty pictures. Making you think it is only to be seen as a death sentence for your animal and you should do nothing. But when your animal is having a problem, it is best to stop it before it becomes worse. So today I spent the time researching and asking the tough questions. Milk fever is horrible for your animals and should be treated right away.

DRY COW TOMORROW I must say is great for cows and goats and after 72 hours of injecting the medicine in your animals teats, all should be well. No one could tell me that. Only through trial and error and a lot of reading and assessing did it occur to me that all would be well as soon as she got this injection. None in the stores knew and very few of my goats friends said that they routinely have to inject for Milk fever or mastitis and how to do it. Ever had to grab a goat by it's horns? Only way to get to the teats without a milk stand. I live on crazy life and I love every minute of it. That is why I am taking the time to share this with you. I can only hope to help other goat lovers out there.

Yes, the sun will come out Tomorrow and tomorrow is only a day away! I am certain that is why they named it that. It is so affordable, I can only recommend things that are affordable. I see no point is asking you to spend your money on things that you will never need but when you do at least don't let it hurt your pockets.

I wish I had a goat , great post ;)

Well when you happen to invest in a goat and watch them multiply you will have a steady stream on information or a place to ask about them.
They really do make great pets though, better than dogs in my book.

Yea except when they head butt you ...lol , investing in goats... hmm , wont work in the city , but maybe later down the road, :)

Just keep in mind that when that time comes and you and yours are in need of goats where to turn. I do have somethings that will help you, while you are in the city. I have a new formula for hair growth. That helps detox the body from unsafe water sources and repair the damage showers and shampoos do to hair.

Thanks for sharing.
