A Change in Routine

One of the things I love to do is to explore. I think I acquired this interest when I was a cub scout, later a scout and in my early 20`s when I was in the Parachute Regiment Reserve. Even on exercise with the Parachute Regiment, I used to love taking in the countryside as well as the views. That love of nature and exploring is I think, very much a part of my DNA.

A Short Trek

Yesterday we decided to go for a short trek along the coast in a spot in Chile known as Isla Maria, near a small town called Mejillones and not far from Antofagasta. One off the things I love about living in Northern Chile is the contrast in colours between the desert (we live near the Atacama Desert) and the Ocean.

Whales

The area is known for Wales, Dolphins, Sea Lions and Penguins. We didn't see any yesterday but we did manage to see some Audubon birds (picture at the top) and of course the ever present American Vultures:

Clearing Our Heads Away From Quarantine

As well as a desire to explore a new location, the main purpose of the change in scene was to clear our heads and have some exercise, as well as to take in some sea air, in a safe way as few people go to this remote spot. It certainly did that and I returned recharged and ready to draft other articles for my business.

Dedication To Success within WA.

One of the scenes that I felt reflected those that may not be sufficiently dedicated to making their business a success in WA was when we frightened these Audubon birds away (by accident).

Don't be frightened away from WA or lose your determination to succeed at the first sign of difficulty. If at first you do not succeed, try try again.
