Ripoff Report.

I was looking for a job on the internet for our local grocery stores and came across some " work at home" stuff.

As I was looking around, I found Ethan Vander was or is a member of WA.

He is reported as a scammer from Ripoff Report.

I looked him up and he joined WA in September 8, 2013.

Nothing else is on his profile, NOTHING!!

Ripoff Report slammed him good and he did little to defend himself from what I could see in his replies.

Ripoff Report also has about 13 reports of WA being one of the biggest IM scams.

Anyone know about Ethan and Ripoff Report???

Great...and smart...decision to join. WA is, in my humble opinion, the best value available today for those sincerely interested in learning and building an online business. The education never ends, nor does the support. Look at the fact that Kyle responded to you, as he does to so many of us. Wishing the very best for you in all your endeavors.

And he protects Ethan's integrity.

Ethan is a member of WA yes and no, he is not a scammer. What he does is he reports some of the most prolific scams online and he creates youtube videos about this.

He does get occasional backlash and "fake" reports like this because his reviews are accurate, factual and truly expose some of the many scams out there.

Any report that you likely see is one that has been constructed by one of the companies negatively reviewed. I have personally spoke to Ethan many times and you will not find a more ethical person.

As for the WA reports, the only reports on there are from people that have either been cut off for spamming or violent behaviour within WA (which has only happened a handful of times out of over 404,000 members) OR it is our competition falsifying reports on there.

RipOffReport is not much better than the BBB in that to remove any fake or falsified report, you have to pay them $2,000. They hold you for ransom and at the end of the day, their ethics (like the BBB and sites like Yelp) always need to be questioned.

Hope this clarifies for you.

Kyle
Yes, it does!!

I've learned a lot here about BBB and Ripoff. I'm also surprised that BBB, Ripoff and Yelp is not all that great when it is designed to help and protected the consumer with information about that business.

I'll have to look Ethan up and thank him for his services.

Again, Thank you, Kyle, for clearing this up with this info with us.

Larry

I have actually met people that have worked at Yelp, which lots of people use for restaurant reviews and reviewing just about anything offline.

They said they made "fake" negative reviews in order to create business, something I don't think they were supposed to tell me but is how these "review" companies operate and earn money off of companies trying to remove negative reviews.

What's even more surprising is Yelp is owned by Yahoo, deeming both of these companies through association as unethical. Perhaps there should be a review site out there reviewing review sites lol.

LOL!!
Sounds like a good thing reviewing reviews out there, LOL!!

WOW!! Yahoo owns Yelp?!?!

Just goes to show can't believe everything you see or read on the internet. Seems like it's really hard to find if things are true or even having any sense about them.

Next time, I know where to come to find the truth.

WA or you Kyle!! Thanks again for clearing things up.

Larry

You can't believe everything you read, but often times you can believe consensus and that is why a lot of people do thorough research before getting involved in things online.

Hi Larry, long time no hear. The one thing that stands our to me as I read your posts and the comments below is, if he isn't a member any more why is his profile still here. I would have thought that if your membership expires 'poof' goes your profile and your name is no longer listed.

That's a good one, Helen.
Good seeing you too.
I did send this to Kyle and maybe we'll see Ethan name removed.

Larry

I'm not sure what his story is (aside from being a scammer). He does NOT need to be associated with WA though. It's tough for people to find honest work at home options. This IS one and I'd hate for anyone to see these poor reviews and think WA is one of those many scams.

This is NOT a scam. It's NOT about getting rich quick. It's about working for what you want in the luxury of your own home. It's about getting the right training so you don't have to use trial and error to create a successful site.

Those that give it bad reviews are those that really ARE looking for a get rich quick type thing. They don't want to put in the time and effort. The only things that I found that will get you rich quick are illegal or winning the lottery.

OK, I'm still hoping for the lottery (which reminds me, I must play) but Orange is not my color. I've heard that orange is the new black but I'm not buying that. SO, as I see it, I'm all in with WA!

~Debbi

Hi, Debbi.

I agree with you totally.

Seeing this Ripoff thing scared me.

Now I know better than to doubt anything about WA.

And I'm waiting to win the lottery as well, LOL!!

Thanks again for your time.

Larry

WA is an excellent program and I personally think it is very credible. It takes a lot of hard work to succeed and great things take time.. Courses, webinars and thousands of hours of knowledge throughout the community.. its all here. Sadly some individuals slate something that doesnt make them rich quick.

Thanks, Alpine.
I'm letting Kyle know right now.

Larry

interesting see LisB has explained it, there are always those who do things that could reflect on WA however we know that this is a genuine program

Hey, Kate.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing.

Larry

I had a look at Ethan Vanderbuilts site and he does admit in a comment that he was with WA and used to promote WA. However, he did not want people to get the wrong idea as he is just after scammers and not looking to promote anyone.

http://ethanvanderbuilt.com/

Some of the other complaints were from people who left and were unable to transfer their sites to another hosting company.

I feel the complaints are all lame and do not affect WA.

Lis.

Thanks, Lis.

I just about got sucked into his B.S. until I saw Ripoff.

At least he is no longer with WA. I had never heard of Ripoff so I am bookmarking it for future reference. :)

I just plugged in the link Loes left behind.
My post, Ripoff, is on that page about 4th one down!! Funny!!

I had a look but could not find it unless it has moved further down. Also, it could be that it is showing for you because you are still logged in to Google. That can sometimes be the cause.

If others can see it at least they will get the truth about WA instead of listening to that rubbish.

Thanks again, Lis.

I spent as much time as I could handle and then I had to get out of there.

Ethan Vanderbilt did jump in and defend himself reading the claims. Not sure how one can say he was in WA when all there is is a name (Ethan vander) no description, picture, or any other information. Anybody could make that profile. The claims they make are pretty lame too. One guy said WA was a "well-known" scam. If that is true then, how come I've only seen like 2 complaints since I started doing research on WA 4 months ago? I think the guy just read the title and assumed. Nobody did their research on that thread. It's very obvious

Thanks, Boston.
Appreciate ya looking into this and sharing what you found.

Larry

Quite a bit of anti-advertising

Hey, Loes.
I just check out the link you left behind.
My post here, Ripoff, is the fourth one down, funny!!

Your star is rising, today you are 3rd!

Star??

I have been here almost 4 years and have never seen him in live chat or even seen his name anywhere. I went and looked at his profile… there is absolutely nothing there other than his name… no posts, no photo, no profile… just the blue head type of icon. Perhaps notify Kyle. He may want to take it down since he is obviously not active here. Thanks for pointing this out.

Thank you, mama2karsten.
Glad to see that.
Reconfirms that WA is real for me.
Larry

What were the claims against WA?

Hey, Aiden.
I didn't look at the claims but notice there were 13 of them.
