4th Certification received and have ranked in Google, Bing, And Yahoo!
Hey so, today I completed my 4th course, pretty exciting..Moving on and upward.
I also learned that I have ranked 9 post into either Google, Bing, and Yahoo. One of the post is on all three search engines...but, this does not mean that I am getting butt loads of traffic and making loads of money. No!
I get traffic but, not a lot. My site is still new and I have to bring in the traffic. By constantly updating my content and improving.
All 9 post are on the first page as well. 2 post changed positions both got bumped down.
One went from position 2 to position 8. And the other went from position 8 to position 9. I am really shocked to know that my post even got ranked because, as stated in a previous post. I have no idea on what I am really doing...
Ask the Community for help?
I had to ask the community "how accurate was Jaaxy?" I also went into an incognito window and checked to see if this was accurate and it was...My post showed up in the exact position that was listed in Jaaxy.
Kyle, responded to my community question and advised me that the accuracy of Jaaxy is 100% accurate. So, what am I doing? I am not sure yet. All I know is I follow the training to the "T" and I push out a blog post every 2 to 3 days.
I also talk with natural flow. I try and make sure that my post are so simple in grammar that even a 3rd grader can understand what I am talking about. People do not like to think too hard...
Write Captivating Titles
Okay, so I am in no way a pro at this and I never try to pretend to be. I noticed that the articles that I write with really captivating Titles are ranked. Some of the titles I used where hip style, while others were just lengthy content and visuals to go with them.
Of course, both of these can be a risk. Too lengthy of a content can make the reader leave your site and too hip can make some readers not read the content. Right now, I am in a testing phase so, I am taking risk to see what works.
How do I find Keywords?
I'll be honest here, Keywords are great for your content but, I honestly do not have a list of keywords. I just find them as I go. Of course as time goes on. I probably should practice listing them but, right now I am trying to learn to write engaging contact.
I also search for keywords that have a QSR of under 100. If I can't find one then I go with anything that makes grammatical sense. (And a QSR under 300). The traffic search, I look at but never am I really concerned about how much traffic a particular keywords gets. I try and keep the traffic search to 50 or more...
I actually do not spend too much time searching for keywords as this slows me down. I try and find at least one keyword for my title and maybe one for an image. Other than that I don't ponder over the keywords.
I capitalize each first letter in my Title and Sub Titles, as well as my images.
What have I learned since completing course 4?
I have learned somethings so, far within the community. That having a positive mindset will get you far in this type of opportunity and in life. Be open to suggestions and never feel as if anyone is being negative towards you.
It is no different from our parents telling us as we grew up, "I think you could have done better, and this is what you should do to fix it." Be willing to accept help and give help.
What are you here for?
We are all here to accomplish the same thing and that is to see the day of success. Helping others will get you far in life and in business. Teach what you know, even if you have the slightest idea of how you got the thing to work. Someone could benefit from it and I am sure they will figure it out just as you will.
SiteComments or Give and Take
Utilize the Sitecomments or the give and take feed. This will help you gain traction to your website and it will help you get engagement. Is it easy keeping up with all of this? No, but once you have a routine down, it will be easier than what it was when you first started. Nothing new is ever easy. IM is a learn as you go type of thing...

There is a difference between SiteComments and Give and Take
SiteComments you have to give two comments to earn credit, so that you can get one comment back. Give and Take is as it says. You give two or three comments and in return they will come back. Not all people will return the comment but, of course that is the risk you have to take when utilizing that feed. Which one do you use?

Utilize SiteFeedback this will help you improve on your website as well. Of course, when it comes to feedback. You'll have to be open minded and make whatever choice you think is right for you. Do what works for you. What works for one may not work for all. When you do find something that does work. Rinse and repeat!

Congrats on your Level 4. I found the comment about keeping the content at the 3rd-grade level accurate, but truly disturbing. As a society have we really dumbed down that far? I know the 3rd-grade level is accurate because of my life with the US tax code which is built for an 8th-grade audience. And you wonder why the people need simplification. Thank you for following my site.
Thank you, John! Yes, it is disturbing but, it is also closely accurate. When I was homeschooling, I learned that as a society we are no longer on the education level that we use to be on. That is why some people end up homeschooling.
They have many books on how our society is being dumb down year after year. I am not sure if it is because, now a days all the technology and social media platforms have been a distraction or what.
People no longer read as they use to. So, that is the only reason, I try and make the content simple to read. I do my best in keeping their attention as much as I possibly can. I wasn't trying to offend anyone but, basically saying that my content is not written like the audience has to read an essay.
Also Kyle, states that people do not like to read more than 140 characters per paragraph. I read a lot so, I never noticed that while some of us will read, other will do not like to read. Until I started seeing how blogs are designed. And, now you'll notice videos are popular. So, yes it is a sad story!

I have a daughter that regularly chides me for using WHOLE words when I communicate with her. This all makes you wonder why we even go to school after the 3rd grade anymore. I read, I write, and I look at pictures in National Geographic. I am old that way, but the youth of today need bites of thoughts, not whole ones. No wonder Instant Messaging is such a hit with them. No wonder they have problems understanding anything.
Yes, I agree with you John. I noticed that with my older daughter. She can do and figure out anything when it comes to Snapchat, Messenger, Social media but, when it comes to common things. Her brain has to work hard in that area. I have to always stay on her. Unfortunately, she was never home-schooled so, she got caught up in the system. Although, she did get accepted to a private university, I felt like she was not ready, because she had no clue on what to do when she got there. I do the same as you read, write, and National Geographic is one of my favorites. They say if we are not always learning our brains are dying. So, I try and learn something new everyday.
