With so much going on at work, play, family etc., and trying to make enough time to build what could be a promising second income online, my head always seems to be filled with
John, I have created a training about that, check on my profile please.
You need to write your thoughts as the draft on your WordPress blog or you can use google docs for it, they are both available at all access points wherever you go, keep editing until you ready to publish, create several drafts for various post ideas and repeat over and over again, also you can keep at you little voice recorder and record your thoughts every time, lot better as you need to have youre posts in speach way to be put in writing on your posts, making posts more natural.
I do the first thing, draft posts myself and have mp4 player with voice recorder but used to use it only for recording ideas ( titles for posts ).
Good luck and believe in yourself.
Marek :)
Hi Marek
Thanks very much for your suggestions. I think your idea of creating draft posts in an online format until I'm ready to publish is brilliant. I'll certainly be having a look at your training to get as much benefit from your knowledge as I can.
Thanks again.
John.
Hi John,
I have to agree with you on this...the trick simply lies in picking a niche (one that relates with your passion) and stick with it. Results will follow...
Hi again Peter :)
Sticking with it is definitely the thing to do. I completely agree.
Thanks very much for your input.
John.
I have always found that having a content schedule really helps, I try to keep a list of my next 10-15 blog posts so I can be researching and planning my posts before I sit down to write them.
A good way to get out of writers block funk is to check out 3-5 popular blogs in your niche and "borrow" some of their blog post ideas, don't steal but use them to inspire your content.
Both of previous comments are solid writers block tips as well.
Hi Justin.
Checking out similar blogs is a great idea. Thanks very much for your suggestion. I'll be taking your advice.
Thanks again.
John.
I agree with John's tip below, you can keep a notepad and pen, or use your phone to write down the idea (this is what I do cause it's more convenient for me).
Also you can use blog topic generator websites such as "hubspot's blog topic generator". These can help you titles for your posts which might spark some ideas of things to write.
You can also take a look at forums in your niche and see what kinds of questions people are asking. I think a good place to start would be Quora.com. If you know the answer you can use that as content for your site. Even if you don't know the answer you can do some research to find it out and create a post on that topic.
Hope this helps.
Stephanie
Hi Stephanie,
Thanks for your suggestions.
I'll definitely try out those sources.
Thanks again.

Hi, we all suffer this from time to time, you say you have ideas when away from your laptop and I guess they evaporate when you sit down to your computer, well there is a really simple solution, carry a small notepad and pen and when an idea comes along you simply write the key words associated with the idea on your pad for reference later. this is a very common problem but easily fixed.
I have even been in bed and the mind racing, cant sleep, and know I will loose the ideas by the morning so I get up jot down some notes for reference in the morning and go back to sleep almost instantly.
Hope this helps.
All the best
John
Hi John.
A handy notepad does seem like a perfect solution. I've now got one and it's helping alot.

Any ideas to clear 'writers block'?

I recommend getting out of the house and then writing down any ideas that pop in your head. Do keyword research one day write down keyword you want to targer and make a list. Look at google analytics to see what terms people are using to find your site. This can give you ideas.
