I changed the theme of my website to Melos and can change the default pictures but there is no option to save the changes. How can I save the changes?
I just saw your question. Have you managed in the meanwhile? Or can I try to help you in any way?
If I can't get it to save the changes I'm going to try another theme. Any help at all would be appreciated. THANKS
I will dive into it later on the day, I have to work first, I will activate the melos theme and look at it from here to see what the problem is
Are you talking about the slider?
To change the slider
Customize site
Theme options
Think up slider - only one image
Save on top Save & Publish
You can also choose to have a custom slider in the same area.
For that, you can add the plugin "meta slider"
You need square images, and you can give every image a separate link to send people to.
After you have made the slider with the images and links, you have to save it before it will activate the slider code.
You can add the slider code which looks like this [metaslider id=876]
Also again, on top click on Save and Publish
I hope this helps, if you have any questions, please say so, or when I misunderstand your problem
Yes, you can only add one image in the thinkup slider, you can add multiple in the custom slider, but you need to upload a slider plugin for that one, because you need to add a shortcode
I wouldn't upgrade, just find another theme with standard a slider, I love the "Sydney" theme, it has a slider for 5 slides
you can check this theme here

Alright! I ♥ Sydney! If you have any questions about it, just fire! As long it's not over the sitebuilder plugin, I can't figure out how that one works;)

Is anybody familiar with the theme "melos"?

Hi Lawrence,
Any luck with the Melos theme? I upgraded to the pro version and I must tell you - it is NOT an intuitive theme at all. I have been building website for a long time and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to configure the home page to my liking. I hate to think I wasted money on it (well okay, it was just $31, but still)...
I'd be interested to know what you did since posting this question. If anyone here has worked with Melos or Melos Pro, please feel free to offer any help. Otherwise, I think I will check out Theme Forest or one of the other popular WP theme offerings.
Thank you,
Hal
I know this is no-no but for the sake of education, I will share the domain here if you think taking a peek at the home page might help you help me. There are no affiliate links on the home page anyway.
