Hi, can someone point me in the right direction for help on what has replaced the Amazon banners and how to add to my website? Thank you.

See for some details.

To add, you can read here; there's more info on AA API keys.

https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/help/node/topic/GTPNVFFUV2GQ8AZV

Hi - nothing that I'm aware of, the option to use them was simply removed, with no replacement.

Are you also aware that all your Amazon image links will now also be broken?

They stopped displaying on December 31, 2023.

Now, the only way you can use Amazon images is through applying for their API key, or by using a paid plug-in such as Lasso.

Hi Diane,
Thank you for replying.
Yes I see that the images have gone but text links still work.
Any classes on here on how to use an API key.
It’s a minefield to me.
Thank you.

First of all, have you met your initial 3 sales target, and received Amazon's final approval?

And if so, have you had a sale in the last 30 days?

Unless you meet those 2 conditions, you can't get the API key.

Got all that. I have the API key, no clue what to do with it. There must be info on Amazon but it is usually gobbledegook to me.

Unfortunately, it's quite complicated.

Your best option is to try and find a YouTube video to follow along.

Assuming you don't want to use a plugin that will do this automatically, but I don't think any of them are free.

Ok, thank you Diane for your help
Best Wishes

Everything Wordpress

Hi, hope everyone is ok.
I am researching ideas on starting a drop shipping page.
Which free plugins can you recommend for an existing Wordpress website please?
Whic

I use AliDropship for my e-commerce stores that dropship from AliExpress suppliers. It allows you to bulk import and automatically calculate your markup prices. And when someone orders and pays, you can then place the order on your supplier with a single click.

AliDropship costs US$29 per store.

There's an optional add-on that automates the delivery cost as well.

And I use the WooCommerce option to calculate state tax for the US and VAT or GST for other jurisdictions.

Thank you for this info, I have been looking at Ali and Woo
Trying to learn all I can before setting anything up.
Did you add stores to established websites? Or start new sites?

I have a few. Generally, I create them for a specific niche using a new domain name and then "stock" them with Amazon products as an affiliate plus AliExpress products as a WooCommerce store.

Ok, thanks.

Some good answers, Louise! Best success to you!

Jeff

Thanks Jeff

You're welcome, Louise!

Hi I am Lula, I have a store selling western country items it takes a lot of effort to divert organic traffic to the store. Have you had any experience can share with me I'd really appreciate it.

Building traffic would be key, do you use social media and SEO to help do this?
I have an established website that has decent traffic, I don’t know whether to add a dropshipping store to it or to start a new site.
Still researching ideas.

This is something I have been considering as well so thanks for asking the question. I'll follow on to see the answers that can lead us in the right direction.

Hi, you may like check below resource

Thankyou

You're welcome.

You may want to consider Shopify as a drop shipping platform and later you can develop it to be a multivendor thus allowing other sellers on your platform to sell or dropship their wares.

Anyone else getting this message from All in one SEO uodates?

And do I deactivate, I am scared to do so...

Warnin

Hi Louise, I personally have my google sitemap deactivated. I do believe it causes a conflict with the already built in AIO site map for google. Haven't had any problems in almost two years.

Best wishes,
Michael

Hello Michael,
Thank you,

I haven’t been aware that I have any problems with it, it’s just a message I got when I updated the All in one SEO.
Having investigated further the sitemap on the SEO isn’t activated, so I only have the one from the initial website set up training by Kyle activated which is Google xml sitemap.

Louise

I'm planning to grasp this nettle today myself.
I have been using the Google XML sitemaps plugin - as per WA training but it has been causing problems recently so I am planning to dump it and use the sitemap feature within All in one SEO.
I'm a bit concerned about it's effect on my site as the rankings have been steadily improving for a while. Hopefully I wont break that!

Exactly this Dave,
I don’t want to break anything either.
Thank you
Louise

I changed it a full weeks prior to my 1& 2 position so it was actually better by that measure not that has anything to do with it apart from to ensure submission to index article in the first instance!! ;

Ok - I've done it.
Google XML deactivated.
Sitemap now supplied by All in One SEO
It has the same URL as the old one so hopefully I dont need to do anything else

Some say yes some say no...I had I suspect as most issues with it so I finally took the plunge and deleted it only not without ensuring that the one inside the SEO three in one was being recognised by Google search console. Google don't really care where it comes from so far as they recognise its from you....

So far I have not had any issues touch wood and certainly glad to get rid of it...it doesn't work properly...ha ha ;

You’re braver than me, I am scared it will go wrong
Yikes!

Lols your braver than me!! ha ha We are not the only ones who have had trouble with it I've fished this out I had already partially was of a mind to do it only tomhee's comment bolstered my resolve hope it is useful! R.

Great, thank you!

Do you have another active sitemap plugin other than All in One? Perhaps from Kyle's training? If you do you should deactivate one, otherwise they can conflict with each other.
Colette and Philip

Hello, hope you’re both well.
Yes I have the sitemap plugin from the original training, if I deactivate it do I have to redo all the sitemap stuff for Google to continue recognising my website?
Thank you
Louise

Hi Louise. It will depend on which sitemap plugin you prefer to use. It sounds like maybe you were using the Google XML sitemap and then, following the recent All in One update, the All in One sitemap got activated as Trish mentions in her message below. For some reason that did not happen to us so we have no experience of how to deal with it. However, we are confident that whatever solution Trish offers will more than likely work.
Colette and Philip

Thank you

Not I. But I did have a site map issue. I went to the WA technical people for advice.

I might have to contact site support too.

Authoring & Writing Content
Updated

Hello Everyone,

I wish to ask your opinions on whether to delete an old post that is not ranking well and rewrite it with fresh, better keywords or do I add to it using

I was wondering about this too. So after reading the below comments, updating is the best way to adopt.
But, if I am not mistaken, I also seen responds to similar question to another member mentioning to forget about the posts, no need to delete, just keep on posting. Pretty much like once a season of sitcom is broadcast, there's no updating or changing the content.

Well I suppose there are always various schools of thought.
I have updated the post because I didn’t want two very similar posts, that would repeat the same thing. I have added new and better keywords and hopefully it will now rank higher.
It was one of my very first posts with out any Affiliate links on it, so it was good to update and improve it.
Best Wishes
Hope you’re getting on well here.
Louise

Thank you all for your answers, seems the general consensus is to update, which I am pleased about. That was my preference.
So the writing is done with new and better keywords, just need to update the post.
Great stuff thank you

Louise

Update posts regularly when you learn more. Never delete a post that is ranking well would be my answer. However, try not to change the permalinks very often as the old permalink leaves a footprint and it shows up as a 404 page, not found error. The title always creates the permalink so my rule is never published an article until the title is correct. I may make 150 revisions in the body but it doesn't matter

Thank you Catherine, I do update. My website is just a year old so I have started updating older posts, the reason I asked for this particular one is that I have so much more and better material to add. I also seem to find better keywords now than when I first started.
Thank you for your help.

TIM

Hi Tim,
I like updates better too, just wanted opinions from you and others more experienced than me.
Updates are done and ready to go,
I have learnt so much more since I first wrote this blog that there is a lot to update, hence why I wondered whether to start it again.

Thank you
Louise

Hi Louise, I 've seen this question a few times and the general consensus seems to be updating rather than deleting, Google, apparently, prefers this. This might help, Loes is awesome.

Good morning Twack, everyone says the same so updating it is. My preferred option too.
Thank you for the link.
