Hello Everyone,

Hope you’ve all had a great week .

Today I finally completed the entrepreneur certification course, it’s taken me a while and I will need to recap on some of the lessons from time to time but I will move on to the next training modules.

The last few weeks, since Spring kicked in have been super busy for me, they will continue to be so right through to mid December. As some of you are aware I run my own garden maintenance company so you can maybe imagine how hectic the next months will be for me.

It is a physically demanding job, as well as all the usual issues connected to being self employed.

I have been with WA now for approx 8 eight weeks, mentally, building and maintaining a website and learning as much as I can about online marketing is more tiring than gardening. It is mentally exhausting because I struggle to understand all the technical aspects. I re do all the lessons until I have the understanding to implement what is being taught. I’m quite proud of what I have achieved with my website so far.

My day today started with doing some WA work, answering questions, feedback etc, then I had to pop into town to do some errands, now, I live in a seaside town, popular with tourists so I went early to avoid traffic. I also had a nice walk along the seafront and enjoyed a coffee in the promenade cafe. It is a beautiful day here, the sun is shining, the sea is a glittering, calm , silver blue.

This down time gave me moments to breathe, to recoup some energy and I was able to plan my day ahead.

When I arrived back home, I was back on WA finishing my training course and earning my 5 badge.

Lunch time was enjoyed sat outside in my garden, reading a book.

I can never sit still for long in the garden, even when I plan to relax I start to see weeds and jobs that need attention, many a time friends have arrived to find me wandering about, weeds in one hand, a glass of wine in the other.

I am that way with my website, I can’t leave it alone some days, I continue to try to make it better with a coffee or wine in hand.

In other notes, a few days ago I asked why my blogs were not ranking as high as I would like, wondering if I was doing the keyword research wrong, several suggestions from you guys included further training, ideas and tips. Others advised me to have some patience, it will happen.

Well, shortly after those conversations, I checked site health only to find that ‘site trust’ had again increased another 10% without me having yet had time to implement anything new on my blogs. So, yes I need to practice more patience and have faith in myself and my ability. I am in fact not doing anything wrong.

My career history of training and gardening should instill patience and it does in terms of other people and plants but not for myself...I am tough on myself, but that is how I work.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone, relax, rewind, energise for the next phase.

Be well

Louise

Hi Louise and congratulations. Eight weeks is not a long time to complete the course, we took much longer than that.
Good luck with your upcoming busy season.

Louise, you are my kind of gardener. Weeds in one hand and a glass of wine in the other. hahaha

Well done for being able to manage both projects at the same time - this is tough isn’t it? It will get easier as you settle into a routine which doesn’t require so much time spent on the training, although if you are like me you will go back and re-train on areas occasionally. Enjoy the weekend.

Thankyou,
It is tough, very steep learning curve, one that I am truly enjoying.
Have a great weekend yourself.
Louise

Congrats on your achievement. I know I wonder the same things and can be hard on myself too - at times.
I am constantly reminding my self to be patient. Taking long walks helps me relax and refocus.
Hope you are enjoying the Easter weekend.

Thank you, hope you enjoy the weekend too.
I love going for long walks.
Louise

Congratulations.
You have done well to finish the course in reasonable time. It is now time and patience, and writing new blogs.
Carry on what you are doing.
Antonio

Thank you Antonio,
Have a good weekend.
