WA Super Affiliate Program Update Week 4

Today is the delivery date for the first month's training.

Whew, there was a lot to do this month. I have to say, I have successfully completed the entire list.....well, not quite. I'm still in need of setting up social sharing on my posts. Everything else has been completed.

I have been sharing WA posts socially. I have lost track if I did them enough times. Sometimes this old brain doesn't keep track as well as it used to.

We were supposed to write 12 posts and 12,000 words. Whew, I decided that I would write my own content. Not interested in paying for someone else to do that for me yet.

I just squeeked through with 12,404 words written since February 4th. Only 9 posts but 5 additional pages so I think 14 pieces of content qualifies. Since January 1st this puts me at 22,000 words written inside the WA site content platform. The stats indicate that this is more than 97% of all WA members. I don't think this should be, people should be using this platform more IMHO.

I have been using the Site Content platform since December and it is a very nice way to keep track of everything that you write for your sites.

As far as the new site goes, I have all of the created content indexed, the site is secure, the favicon and logo are created, basically, I checked off everything other than the social sharing.

Each post has been through Jay's 1st 2 sections of his 21 step blog posting SEO schedule. The 3rd section is all about social sharing of the posts so as stated before, I haven't done this part yet.

I will be creating a Facebook fan page for the site next and sharing it there. I'll also be starting a Facebook group for this page. Interacting with visitors to the site is important! Facebook groups are one way to keep the pulse of your readers.

I've been posting the content to a Google + collection so I guess this qualifies a bit.

Traffic is just getting started. Checking Analytics ( I have filtered my own ip so I'm not counting myself) I have 5 new visitors. No email sign-ups and the bounce rate is still slightly above 50%. Pretty good bounce rate. I've always been happy if the bounce rate is below 60%.

So, there you have it. It has been a busy month. Looking forward to making progress in the months to come.
