WA Super Affiliate Program Update Week 2

Well, last week I was up to my elbows in alligators. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/labman/blog/time-off

I was still able to complete a few posts and am sitting at just over 50% of my monthly content goals. Actually at about 60% for content but only 5 posts completed. Once I get on a roll it's hard to stop when I reach 1000 words.

I did have a problem with All In One SEO not creating a sitemap for me. Apparently, WA support was able to get that working in a few minutes. I still don't know what the issue was but since it is working I guess I can live with that.

I created my front page and getting started sequence. I added a Google Form on a separate page for people to get in touch with me when they sign up to my list.

My whole idea is to be able to communicate with my sign-ups inside WA. If they don't go Premium and their Starter communication privileges expire, it would be nice to be able to continue to support their efforts. Without an email contact it is impossible to do that.

Sadly, WA doesn't share your sign-ups' email with you when they join.

I'd like to provide support to my sign-ups. I don't yet have an email sequence created, but will be working on this in the near future.

I'm also working on a tree, so I'm dividing my time between physical labor and writing.

The tree is a 60 foot yellow pine. I have reduced about 30 feet of it into boards that are stacked and stickered and are drying under a tarp. Now that the weather is getting better I hope to have these ready to use by the fall.

I have also identified another 40' yellow pine laying on the forest floor. I need to get this milled before it begins to rot.

I'm cutting the larger diameter pieces from the top of the tree into stock for chainsaw carving. I've done one carving at this point but I think the pine will provide some good stock for practicing and developing my skill at chainsaw carving. If nothing else.

I may even get some product to sell on the marketplace. I know I'll have lots of good content for Woodworking Warrior( If I get the time to create it since I'm focused on the Super Affiliate program first)

Thanks for the share!

Thank you much for sharing your work efforts. You're doing excellent.

Sounds like you've made good progress although this is a short month.

Enjoyed reading about your work with trees and chainsaws. I like the way you can switch between working online and some good solid outdoor physical labour, and then have the option of turning that labour back into online profits. Very cool.

I was in England in the summer and visited the former country home of the writer Rudyard Kipling. A tree in the garden needed to be taken down but they preserved the lower part and had it turned into a chainsaw sculpture of Rudyard Kipling, glasses and all! Impressive.

Keep up the good work through the rest of the month (and beyond).

Nicely done.

Hello Craig, nice to hear from you. You're doing fine, just do the best you can. I need to still give my progress here yet...

Glad to hear your sitemap is working ok. Keep the steady roll going...

Good to hear from you.

Nice one going for you. Keep the tempo running bro.

Elbows is not what I'm up to in alligators...just sayin'...:-)

I think being able to email our referrals is a great idea. I know that they do get a lot of emails automatically from WA, because I remember receiving them. So I'm guessing there's an attempt to avoid over-spamming or something. But I do agree a personal approach would be helpful.

...and the alligators? Do they coexists with the yellow pine?
But seriously,
Yes, that's a lot of concentrated effort, both physical and mental. It's amazing that you even have the time to blog about it, not to mention those content pages....
Very impressive, and motivational. Thanks for sharing!

The alligator is down in Hilton Head. We are caretaking a property down there. Home is in Knoxville, TN

Thanks for sharing your week 2 update, Craig, if there was a 'love it' button I would have clicked on it, instead of the regular like button...I can totally relate to a divided focus and a tendency for total immersion at the same time...I'm loving the lesson format offered by WA, and I'm drawn to work on the steps anytime I can :) I love that you're working with trees, (milling the wood, as well as chainsaw carving), and I also love that you want to keep in touch with your sign-ups and support them in any way you can...your post gave me a feel good feeling that came with a smile :) Good luck staying on top of your content goals!
