Well, OK, so the title of this post is a bit of a teaser.
Today twitter announced the roll out of 280 characters.
Yup, it's official, you can now double the number of characters that you can tweet.
No longer do you need to cram your pearl of wisdom into 140 characters.
The test audience was polled and found that after the initial burst of longer tweets they actually went back and use less than 140 characters most of the time.
I bet the general tweeting public and more specifically the scammers will find a use for more characters.
Love it or hate it.
You can now tweet 280.

I am not sure if this is a good move. Limitation makes you creative.
Even more noise and even more distraction...
I didn't even realize this and I use Twitter almost daily! That is awesome considering the fact that I was just a few days ago, looking for some trick online to increase the amount of characters!
