The Winds of Change
On the beach a few weeks ago, a storm had just passed and the wind was howling.
It stripped the sand from the beach and buried the upper beach in dunes while stripping away the edge of the beach with the high waves and strong currents.
As the wind pushed the light sand parts of the beach captured the heavy sand in layers creating a drift of sand and exposing the small heavier shells. In places, the sand was stripped off the beach leaving a landscape reminiscent of a desert from far above.
The wind scoured the landscape and created beauty.
