SAR 9-11
On this somber day, we remember the tragedy.
I didn't start my Search and Rescue journey until after 2001, but many of the handlers that I have worked with and learned from were "on the pile". None of the dogs are still around as their lives are much shorter than our memories.
In 2011 a memoriam for the dogs was put together.
I cried. You will probably want some tissues to watch this.
