It snowed
Yup we had Snowmageddon. NOT>
We did get a couple of feet here in the Great White (again) North but this is nothing that we can't handle. The kids got a couple of days off school and the administrators are freaking out because they now have to add two more days at the end of the year to make up the difference.
New York City is P.O.'d because they prepared for a huge storm and just got 8 inches, not even enough to be worth complaining about. But of course they shut down the city because the forecasters were wrong yet again.
I had to clear the driveway. In standard New York fashion, all of my neighbors pulled out their snow blowers and cleared their driveways and then put them away and went inside without a howdy to me out there with my shovel plodding through the 4 foot pile at the end of my driveway deposited by the snowplows. I really miss the friendliness of Tennessee while I'm up here. Not too much longer.
So, how does this relate to Internet Marketing? Well, I can draw one similarity with the time taken to clear off the snow. I had a task. A very repetitive task, doing the same thing over and over. Kinda like writing blog posts. While it isn't the same thing all the time, writing can be a bit repetitive.
On top of the Snowstorm the Friday before we had some high winds. Yes, sustained winds of 50-60 mph with a record gust of 98 MPH. There was a bit of tree damage and huge areas near the city were without power for several days. Most of the power was back on before the snow knocked it out again. My power wasn't interrupted and the tree I hoped would come down withstood the onslaught.
I wish that I had a tree trailer and a portable bandsaw mill. I seem to be followed around by falling trees this year. After the devastation of Hurricane Mathew, this windstorm paled in comparison.
Niches, well, I guess you know where I'm going with this. Chainsaws, skidloaders, snowmachines (not snow mobiles although the snow mobile clubs are in 7th heaven).
There are just so many possibilities.

Hi Craig
We don't see much of that White Stuff here in Australia (talking about Snow that is) but we do have a few snow resorts in the high country. We concentrate on the hot stuff - you don't go surfing with
the snow around in your budgie smugglers and bikini.
How are your beautiful labs getting on? I look at the photo and I want to reach out and kidnap them. I'm a Golden Retriever man
myself and I had three over the past forty years. My wife won't let me get another because it will probably outlive me and she'll want to sell the house and downsize and you've got to have a yard.
Anyhow, it's been nice talking to you Craig so look after yourself,
Best Wishes Ian
I too shovel my snow. But, how Lucky I am this year. I leave in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It's about 7000 ft elevation and we are experiencing warmer weather than the norm here. High 60s and low 70s so far for March. This has been great for our frozen yogurt store, "Frogurt". March 13 we beat our best sales day ever since opening 6.5 years ago. And this week we continue to see lots of business. If you looked at our sales you would think it was the middle of summer. Can't tell you how much gratitude that we have for the great weather.
Nice that you can capitalize on the good weather. Hope the summer isn't too brutally hot for you.
Rain/snow mix here in Northern Minnesota.. though folks to the East got hit harder this year than we did. Most of our snow has gone. (But march can be brutal so not holding my breath)
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I am shivering while reading. I hear people in Tennessee are looking forward to your arrival and will welcome you with open arms even if you are an online marketer from up north. After all, what else can one do under those circumstances? (wink, wink). Hmmmm, I think southern hospitality is sounding better and better. :)
