Crohn's Conference
My friend has just returned from a major conference that happened last weekend in Philadelphia.
This conference was by invitation only and was a group of International researchers that are on the cutting edge of Crohn's research as it relates to MAP.
MAP is implicated in Crohn's Disease. MAP is short for Mycobacterium Avium subspecies Paratuberculosis. This bacteria is related to both Tuberculosis and Leprosy. It appears that the main host is Cattle and that most of the Cattle in the US and a significant population in Australia and New Zealand are infected.
MAP is zoonotic. This means that it is transferred from Cattle to humans. Not only that but it mutates when it infects humans into a new form. Needless to say, it is a rather difficult bacteria to culture and to treat.
If you are at all interested in learning more about this research, the lectures were recorded and are currently being processed. There is an extensive list of tweets that were generated during the conference, They are summarized on this page. https://humanpara.org/the-light-at-the-end-of-the-...
Check back frequently as the videos will be forthcoming over the next few weeks.

Crohn's disease rare genetic disease but this first time I know
that cause from many factors.
Why you interesting in Crohn disease?
This site is a client's site.
It is becoming less rare and there is a genetic component but it appears that the MAP infection may be the cause in many cases.
It has also been implicated in some Type 1 diabetes and Multiple Sclerosis.
Thank you for sharing this link Craig. I have been following the studies on this subject for a few years now.

Make sure to check out the site, it is a breath of fresh air as most of the information is underwritten by the Big Pharma. This charity is independent of that monetary influence.
